Monique Samuels will not be returning to Love & Marriage: D.C for a second season amid divorce rumors.

In early October, former Real Housewives of Potomac stars, Monique Samuels and her husband, Chris Samuels, were accused of having marriage issues and heading to divorce, as reported by People Magazine.
After a promo for the second season featuring the Silvas and Taylors was released, and the Samuels are noticeably absent.
Monique Samuels announced her departure during the Monday morning broadcast of her radio show via WPGC’s “The Good Morning Show” which she cohosts alongside Todd B, Jason Weems, D. Carter, and Guy Lambert.
“Chris and I were planning to be a part of the season,” said Monique while recapping the recent headlines surrounding her family. “The main reason we didn’t start filming was because of contract issues. We never even started filming.”
“Yes, it is true, Chris and I will not be returning,” she added. “I think at this point we’re just done with reality TV.”
The host also said that she won’t be “devalued” and added that the [reality TV] paperwork has to be “straight” but this time it was “crooked.”
Monique also made a point to note that there’s no bad blood between her and Love & Marriage D.C. creator Carlos King.
“I saw Carlos King at Porsha’s wedding,” said Monique. “There are no hard feelings.”
In a live YouTube video, Monique and Chris set the record straight and assured fans they are still together.
The couple admitted that they were so upset about the article from People, which claimed they had gone their separate ways after 10 years of marriage.
In the following video, the two deny being separated or being on the road to divorce. Monique says, “When you say the word ‘separation,’ that insinuates the road to divorce. Are Chris and I getting a divorce? No, we’re not getting a divorce. Are Chris and I going our separate ways? Absolutely not. Nobody ever said that, OK?” Samuels also slammed the people who were praising the rumor of divorce and the possible dissolution of her marriage to the former NFL player and called them, “sad.”
