Caroline Manzo Asked to RETURN to ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey’

Caroline Manzo is open to returning to The Real Housewives of New Jersey if the terms are favorable for her! 

Caroline, 61, starred in The Real Housewives of New Jersey from seasons one to five before leaving the Bravo show in 2013. Manzo spoke to OK! Magazine while attending BravoCon 2022 last month and said she would return if the scenario were right. “I did get asked back this past season, but I declined. I’m at a point in my life where I do things that make me happy. If I’m not happy, I’m not gonna do it. I’m not going to put myself in that position.”

Manzo finalized the topic of her return by saying, “Never say Never — but it’s not on my radar.” She did share her love for Dolores Catania who has been on the show since season seven. “I wanted Dolores from season one. She was offered [season one], but she turned it down. I was a big soldier for her to try and get on [the show],” she said. Manzo explained that because Dolores had been on the show before, she knew exactly what was required of her. 

Real Housewives of New Jersey alum said, “When she got back on, she knew exactly what the equation was. She was in a couple of episodes in the past. She understood the job, and she understood the journey.” A lot of Bravo fans have been speculating about Caroline’s return to the franchise. Teresa Guidice, 50, also said she would love it if the original ladies from the first season returned. “I would love the first, the way we started season one and two.”

While Caroline hasn’t finalized her decision to return to The Real Housewives of New Jersey, she is busy spending time with family. Manzo spoke about how she loves being a grandmother to her daughter Lauren Manzo’s child, Marchesa Anna Scalia. Caroline gushed, “She’s the love of my life. I would jump in front of a train for that child. She is the brightest light in our world and just so special in so many ways. We really hit the jackpot.” 

Dolores, 51, on her part, said she would love to do The Real Housewives of New Jersey with Caroline Manzo. “I would love to do [RHONJ] with Caroline because fans love sincere, organic relationships — which is something that we have.”
