Robyn Dixon and Gizelle Bryant Blame Karen Huger For Mia Thornton Attacking Wendy Osefo
Real Housewives of Potomac stars Robyn Dixon and Gizelle Bryant are both blaming Karen Huger for Mia Thornton and Wendy Osefo’s Miami throwdown.
Robyn Dixon and Gizelle Bryant both believe Mia and Wendy’s explosive fight in the sunshine state could have been averted if the grande dame had stepped in.
As reported, Mia Thornton, 38, and Wendy Osefo, 38, got into a physical altercation during a cast trip to Miami at Peter Thomas’ eatery BarOne.
Mia Thornton confronted Wendy on her alleged shady business practices and their interaction turned hostile. Wendy attacked Mia’s marriage, leading Mia to cool Wendy off by dowsing her with a drink. Needless to say, the situation escalated into an explosive screaming match on both ends. The fight concluded with Mia striking Wendy with her Louis Vuitton purse — and both ladies had to be restrained by security.
In the Sunday, Nov 27 episode of the Bravo reality series, Robyn, Gizelle and Mia all blame Karen Huger for doing nothing to “diffuse the situation.”
In the clip below, Robyn Dixon, 43, scolds Karen, “I do feel like you didn’t try to diffuse the situation.” Robyn tells her.
Karen Huger, 59, claps back, “Girl my a– was trying to get the f-ck up out of here. Y’all were not sitting between the two of them. Girl, you know I can’t fight. No.”
Outside of the restaurant, Jacqueline Blake, along with Mia, Robyn, and Gizelle all discuss the incident — and the RHOP newbie agreed with the ladies assessment of Karen’s lack of arbitration.
Jacqueline criticized the senior cast member, stating she should have stepped up and prevented the dispute, “I feel like Karen was probably the only person that could have diffused the situation.”
Gizelle also feels Karen is a bad friend that did not have Mia’s back.
She tells the group, “And it was no, all of the stuff that was coming out of Wendy’s mouth Karen by no means was like, that ain’t true.” Gizelle added, “When you straddle the fence, you show both people that you don’t have support for either one.”
Robyn theorizes that Karen wants to, “Keep your hands clean, you know?” So she doesn’t look like the bad guy on either side.
Mia feels double-crossed by her supposed friend Karen, in a talking head confessional she explains, “If anybody were to put Ray on a platter and try to fillet his a–, I won’t let it. But clearly, Gordon, who loves and adores Karen, she allowed his a– to be filleted. And she didn’t see a problem with that.”

During a Real Housewives of Potomac After Show, Karen described how happy she was to have Mia Thornton as a neighbor.
Both Mia and Karen have gushed about their friendship. The grande dame previously described Mia as, “a boss” and “a breath of fresh air,” and she has even mentioned how Mia’s husband Gordon reminds her of her own hubby, Ray Huger. “I love everything about Gordon. I can handle Gordon,” Karen previously stated.
Mia Thornton has also showed support for Karen, saying on her September 12 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, “I’m gonna stand behind my girl ’cause I love Karen so much.”
