Todd Chrisley’s Son Grayson DEVASTATED and ‘Suffering’ After Parents Sentenced To Nearly 20 Years In Prison!!
Sources close to the Chrisley family say out of all of the five Chrisley kids, Grayson Chrisley is taking his parents’ incarceration the hardest!
“Grayson is handling this the worst. He’s having the hardest time. He’s the one who’s most impacted. He’s the youngest and has the most to lose. He doesn’t have anything, career-wise, to fall back on,” a source said. The insider also said that since Grayson is still in high school, he is trying to keep himself busy with extracurricular activities like weightlifting and playing baseball. Todd Chrisley, 53, was sentenced to 12 years in prison while Julie, 49, got sentenced to 7 years for their crimes.
According to people close to the family, the Chrisley Knows Best stars are still in shock, and everyone is devastated about the sentencing. Todd and Julie share kids, Lindsie Chrisley, 33, Kyle Chrisley, 31, Chase Chrisley, 26, Savannah Chrisley, 25, and Grayson, 16.
“Emotions are just all through. Everyone in the family is very upset, especially the kids,” the insider added. On November 12, Grayson was involved in a car accident where “both drivers suffered injuries” on the I-65N highway in Nashville, Tennessee. The Nashville police confirmed to The U.S. Sun that Grayson suffered a head injury and could not recall anything from the accident.
A source told the news outlet that Grayson is recovering at home at the moment.
“He’s handling this as best as he can but is not doing well. He is still recovering. He could possibly have a concussion but it’s not been confirmed. He’s home resting.”
They also said that the cause of the accident could be related to Todd and Julie going to prison.
“Because of what’s going on with his parents and not thinking clearly, that’s what I think the cause of it was. But only he knows.”
Todd and Julie also had custody over their granddaughter, Chloe, who is Kyle’s daughter. But now that they have been sentenced, Savannah will have custody over Chloe, 10, and Grayson.
Savannah spoke about the situation during the Monday episode of her podcast, Unlocked.
“The hardest part is me trying to navigate how you teach two younger children who aren’t fully developed yet and how to get them to understand the circumstances,” she said. The reality TV couple is due to report by January 15, 2023. Julie will go to FCI Tallahassee and Todd will be going to FCI Pensacola. The family plans on spending most of their time together before Todd and Julie turn themselves in.
