‘The Talk’ Host Sheryl Underwood Shows Off 100lb Weight Loss – Fans Say Now She’s TOO Skinny!!
Sheryl Underwood showed off her new figure while co-hosting the recent episode of The Talk.
The TV personality showed off her slim figure with a pair of skinny plaid pants and an orange sweater vest with a white blouse underneath. Sheryl, 59, has gradually been changing her style as she lost weight over the past weeks. When she lost 90 pounds, she celebrated the milestone by wearing a pair of tight denim jeans and a matching jacket on the show. On an episode of The Talk, she spoke openly with her audience about her decision to lead a healthier lifestyle.
“I was not healthy and I wanna live a long, long time and I wanna be sitting on this stage a long, long time,” Underwood said. The talk show host also said that she put in the work to get where she is now and doesn’t mind dressing up to show off. “I did what I needed to do and I just wanted to be able to put on a very stylish, but clingy dress to symbolize all the work that I’ve put in.”
Despite being open about the cause of her weight loss, fans have come out to say that Sheryl has become too skinny. While talking to People, she revealed that her fitness journey was motivated by a shocking diagnosis. She was diagnosed with pre-diabetes, hypertension, and more when she weighed between 230 to 250 pounds.
The Talk co-host told People that she really wanted to get ahead of it. “I knew I was gaining weight. I could see it, and I knew that something was happening with my health,” she said. To improve her health, Sheryl decided to lose weight by exercising more, drinking more water, and changing her diet. She also got weekly Wegovy injections to help her suppress her appetite and have better food portion control. So far, the comedian has dropped 95 pounds from her newfound regimen. Sheryl has been a host on The Talk for 12 seasons now after joining in its second season in 2011.
Sheryl signed a multi-year deal with CBS to remain on the show until season 15, which could be at least until 2025. Apart from Underwood, the other co-hosts on the show include, Akbar Gbajabiamila, Natalie Morales, actor Jerry O’Connell, and Amanda Kloots.
