RHOP: Monique Samuels Warned Wendy Osefo That She Would Be Next To Be Iced Out By ‘Miserable’ Cast
Monique Samuels Warned Wendy Osefo That She And Her Family Would Be Next In ‘RHOP’ Takedown
Real Housewives of Potomac alum, Monique Samuels, is weighing on the drama between Mia Thornton and Wendy Osefo.
In a recent episode of RHOP, things got physical between Mia and Wendy while on a cast trip in Miami. In the scene, the ladies were enjoying dinner at Peter Thomas‘ Bar One restaurant, when Mia and Wendy got into a heated argument. Things turned left after Mia called out Wendy for not “checking in” with Peter, Wendy’s potential business partner, during their Miami stay. One shade led to another, and Mia doused Wendy with her martini. That’s when sh*t hit the fan.
After minutes of going back and forth, Mia attempted to lunge at Wendy, but security stepped in. However, Mia successfully hit Wendy with her purse before production security whisked her away. Mia suffered multiple broken nails, forcing her to call her husband to get her a flight home.
Robyn Dixon labeled Wendy antagonistic while Gizelle Bryant justified Mia’s behavior. Wendy then called out Gizelle for being a hypocrite.
“I’m not gonna hear Mia empathizers or somebody who is okay with violence now,” said Wendy. “But when Monique did it to Candiace she was against violence.”

Wendy was referencing Gizelle’s reaction to the physical altercation between Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard Bassett. In Season 5, Monique attacked Candiace during a cast outing at a winery. At the time, Gizelle, along with a number of the ladies, including Wendy, iced Monique out after the attack. Wendy was very vocal in telling Monique how she felt about the fight, making it clear she wanted nothing to do with her.
Now, Monique is giving her two cents on the fight between Mia and Wendy.
“I don’t know the entire story, but I applaud Wendy for not getting physical as I did after I was hit in the face with a glass,” Monique exclusively told The Neighborhood Talk. “She had every reason to defend herself after being splashed in the face and then apparently hit with a purse and she chose to use her words instead.”
Monique also gave Wendy props for keeping her word in saying she would never physically fight anyone.
“One thing Wendy said to me back then at Karen’s home was she would never get physical, she would use her words. Clearly, she lived up to that statement, in this moment.”
Monique revealed that she warned Wendy that one day, she and her family would be next to be attacked by the “miserable” women in the cast.
“I told her at the season 5 reunion she and her family would be next,” she said. “The hate with some of those women is not for the camera. They’re real-life miserable,” she said.
Monique added, “One thing Wendy should understand is that it’s not about her actions or lack thereof, she could have sat there quietly and they still would have found reason to ice her out.”
