Lisa Rinna Chimes In On Erika Jayne’s Legal Drama on Instagram
Lisa Rinna chimed in on the legal drama surrounding Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star, Erika Jayne, in reaction to a fan defending the reality star on Instagram.
Erika posted an image snapped from a recent Los Angeles Times article detailing the accusations aimed at Christopher Kamon, CFO of her ex, Tom Girardi’s defunct law firm. Erika shared the headline from the article, captioning the post — “This sh-t gets crazier and crazier. Wow.”
Rinna immediately sounded off in the comment section with a “well, well, well,” inviting a “love you” from her co-star.
Rinna stepped deeper into the dialogue after a fan slammed the RHOBH cast for supposedly bullying Erika, last season.
“Erika, you seriously got bullied so badly over all this. There is due-process for all things legal, and the ladies shoulda been smart enough to realize that, and quit running their mouths, and found some other way to keep their storylines going! I’m [Team Erika],” the fan wrote.
Rinna quipped in response — “Some are smart enough. She asked us to wait. Let the legal system handle it.”
As reported earlier this month, Tom Girardi’s ex-Chief Financial Officer was recently arrested by the feds on wire fraud charges.
Court documents revealed that Girardi’s former financial officer was arrested in Maryland, per the FBI criminal complaint.
Christopher Kazuo Kamon, 49, appeared in federal court in Baltimore, Maryland on a wire fraud charge filed in the Central District of California. The affidavit supporting the criminal complaint had been sealed, but the alleged crime occurred “on or about the date of September 16, 2020, in the county of Los Angeles in the Central District of California,” which aligns with Kamon’s time at Girardi Keese.
The feds allege that Kamon has direct knowledge of Girardi Keese’s finances and allegedly knows how Tom Girardi scammed his clients.
Earlier this month, Crystal Kung Minkoff confirmed that production had been pushed back to January of next year, amid rumors of a RHOBH cast shakeup.
The decision to delay filming came after Kathy Hilton confirmed that she would not return to the show if the same cast remained in place. Fans know that Erika and Rinna teamed up against the socialite after she experienced an alleged “psychotic break” during a cast trip to Aspen.
“I had said that I would only be willing to come back if the cast, if it was completely the same, absolutely not, because I feel there are two bullies that intimidate a lot of the other girls,” Kathy told TMZ, last month. “A couple speak up, but most of them, they’re not being their authentic self when they’re pushed up to the wall, and they’re afraid of what those two bullies… because they’re capable of anything.”
