Denise Richards’ Shot At During Road Rage Incident

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Denise Richards and her husband are lucky to be alive after a driver fired a shot at their vehicle in an apparent road-rage incident Monday.

Denise Richards and husband, Aaron Phypers, were driving to Popsicle Studio L.A. when Aaron, who was behind the wheel, was having difficulty finding the studio.

A driver behind them became agitated and started shouting at them, and eventually opened fire on the truck, hitting the back end on the driver’s side.

Below is photo of the bullet hole in the couple’s vehicle.

Luckily for Denise Richards and Aaron Phypers, they did not suffer any injuries.

A production worker at the studio called 911, although it was not immediately known if the couple filed a police report.

“Denise powered through the emotions of it all and worked for 12 hours … Aaron stayed with her the whole time. When she was ready to leave, an off-duty cop who was on set escorted Denise and Aaron back to the freeway, where they made their way home,” the TMZ report said.

Denise Richards starred on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills from 2019 to 2020, and had a major dispute with Lisa Rinna, who accused the Bond actress of having a lesbian affair with Brandi Glanville.

Denise addressed Lisa Rinna’s nasty behavior towards her during her time on the Bravo reality series.

On October 20, Denise posted on Instagram about her former friend and co-star’s behavior during season 12 of the show. “I watched #RHOBH last night. While I have empathy for Lisa Rinna losing her mom, what is her excuse all the other years on the show for being so cruel & so vindictive?” Denise was referring to the Season 12 RHOBH reunion where Rinna was confronted about her attack on Sutton Stracke.

Rinna apologized for her behavior while mourning her mother, Lois, who passed away in November 2021.
