Joe Gorga Shoots Down Narrative Surrounding BravoCon Scuffle with ‘Crazy’ Jennifer Aydin
Joe Gorga has shot down the narrative surrounding his run-in with Jennifer Aydin during BravoCon weekend, claiming that lots of reported details about the scuffle were “all lies.” The Real Housewives of New Jersey star appeared on the Chicks in the Office podcast on Friday, where he tried to set the record straight.
“Everything that you heard is a lie,” Joe said, during his podcast chat.
He reiterated—“Whatever you heard Jennifer’s assistant say, it was all lies.”
Jennifer, a loyal supporter of Teresa Giudice, mixed it up with the Gorgas last month after they crossed paths in the lobby of the Gansevoort Meatpacking Hotel in New York City.
Multiple reports claimed that Joe’s wife and RHONJ cast member, Melissa Gorga, instigated the confrontation after she called her co-star a “loser, f–king loser wannabe,” prompting Jennifer to fire back a “shut the f–k up.” Joe reportedly stepped in to defend his wife, telling Jennifer — “Shut up you dirty f**king bitch.” It was reported that Jennifer, who was with her assistant at the time, responded by tossing her plastic cup. Jennifer’s assistant, Erica Madelyn, shared a video on TikTok at the time, claiming that Joe called the RHONJ star the nasty name.
However, Joe claimed that it was Jennifer who picked the fight.
“The story is out there that she threw a drink me, and I was saying these vulgar things to her — no,” the RHONJ husband continued.
“First of all, I was 50 feet away with my wife … Jennifer likes to dig a lot and she gets involved in my family business,” the real estate developer added.
Joe admitted that Melissa “did say something” to her cast mate that may have made her angry.
“If you watched her on the TV show through the years, she drinks a lot, she’s violent, she throws thing, she breaks glasses, she wants to stab you with it, she throws knives,” the dad of three said.
“I mean, this is who she is, she’s crazy,” he declared. “Picture her in real life. That’s editing!”
Joe confessed to yelling at Jennifer at some point during the incident but claimed that the RHONJ star was supposedly “out of her mind” at the time.
He clarified that the drink was “never thrown” at him, but toward his assistant.
“She was out of control to the point where it was embarrassing,” Joe alleged. “Yelling at the top of her lungs like a maniac.”
Melissa told her side of the story on her podcast, “On Display” last month, claiming that her co-star gave her a “snarky stare in [her] eyes” as she headed to the hotel elevators.
Melissa admitted that she said — “Keep moving, wannabe. Come on, loser, just keep walking. There’s the elevator.”
She also cosigned Jennifer’s assistant when she confirmed that Joe fired the words “dirty bitch,” but claimed that the phrase was aimed at “other people” not her Real Housewives of New Jersey co-star.
