‘Sister Wives’ Kody Brown Admits He Never Loved Christine and Had Sex With Her Out of Duty!

On Sunday’s all-new episode of Sister Wives, Kody Brown spirals in anger as he deals with the fallout of Christine Brown’s decision to leave him and the family.

The episode of Sister Wives picks up at the heated family meeting at Christine’s house after she informed her fellow sister wives that her house is under contract and she’s moving to Utah within the week.

During the scene, Kody grills Christine about turning his older kids against him by poisoning them about their failed marriage.

“I think your relationship is off with your kids because of COVID, not because of me,” Christine tells him, referring to Kody’s strict COVID protocols.

Kody’s harsh COVID regulations left many family members seeing how much the Brown patriarch favors his fourth wife, Robyn Brown, because he spent all his time with her and neglected everyone else.

“Bull, you’re telling them. It’s Christine telling them,” Kody says of his ex in an aside interview. “She’s running to this person, to this person, to this person, to this person to complain about the relationship. She’s been playing games for years. I just call bulls**t.”

While addressing the group, Kody admits, “I cannot figure out why I’m so angry.”

“It is sad. It’s sad,” Christine says of the split.

Kody’s second wife, Janelle Brown, explains his intense reaction to the loss of Christine as  a period of mourning.

“I’ve seen you grieving, Kody, in a way I’ve never seen you grieve before,” she tells him. “You disguise it, but it’s grief.” Janelle says in a talking head confessional, “I don’t know how to explain it. He’s just been off. He’s gone to a more angry place quicker than he ever did.”

Kody, however, compares his feelings to a failed business investment, “like an investor who poured everything he had into something and it just didn’t work.”

In a talking head confessional, Kody explains he’s upset because he put “so much effort” into his marriage with Christine.

Kody then makes a shameful and heartless admission about his feelings for his departing wife, Christine, and the true nature of their marriage.

“I was holding her hand. I was kissing her. I wasn’t in love,” Kody says. “I was doing it as my duty as a husband. She’s not either. She quit loving me years ago. Now that we’re here, I’m just so upset because it’s not the breakup of two people. It’s the breakup of a family.”

In November 2021, Christine Brown announced on Instagram that her spiritual marriage to Kody was over.

In September 2021, Christine relocated to Salt Lake City, Utah, and still lives there with daughter Truely, 12.  The exes are also parents to son Paedon, 24, and daughters Aspyn, 27, Mykelti, 26, Gwendlyn, 20, and Ysabel, 19.
