‘Little People, Big World’ Fans Diss Amy Roloff for Not Appreciating Husband Chris Marek!

Little People, Big World fans have been giving Amy Roloff’s new husband kudos after the most recent episode featured Chris Marek giving his step-grandson, Jackson, a new bicycle. 

Zach and Tori Roloff watched Amy’s hubby teach their son to maneuver his new ride in Tuesday’s episode.      

Amy and Chris, both 60, were married last year. Amy has received blowback in the past over her relationship with ex, Matt Roloff, and now some fans are calling her out for not giving Chris enough credit for the effort he puts into the family relationships. 

Fans used Reddit to sound off about the TLC mom and her new husband. 

One person kicked off the discussion, writing—”He is a better ‘father figure’ or ‘grandfather figure’ to the kids than Matt is. Chris goes out of his way to try and bond and connect with the kids. Bye Matt and Karen!!”

Another said—“This guy doesn’t get talked about enough. He may be on the quiet side but Chris is so much better than Matt.”

A viewer chimed in—“I really like him. He seems like such a nice guy but obviously all I see is what’s on tv. If he is as nice as he seems off-air, I wonder what the attraction was to Amy, she seems difficult to me.”

“I’m hoping him and Amy make it but I don’t think she’s the easiest person to be married to, her and Matt both have challenging personalities,” another noted.  

In August, Amy took to Instagram to mark her husband’s birthday with a heartfelt tribute. Fans chimed in with their own birthday wishes for Chris in the post’s comment section and fired a few shots at Matt. 

One fan wrote — “Happy Birthday Chris! Thanks for coming into Amy’s life and giving her the life and love she deserves!”

Another viewer said — “To say you have brought beautiful, well earned AND deserved joy, light, love AND trust to Amy is an understatement.”

A follower chimed in — “You all enjoy each other! I just love you both! I just can’t stand the other two exes. They are really really dirty…Stop being around them!! Leave them in the wind! They are history!!!”

Matt and Amy announced that they were calling it quits in 2015, after a 30-year marriage. Matt was hit by cheating rumors after he admitted in his book, “Against Tall Odds,” that he and Amy did not view the concept of  “commitment” in the same way. Matt is currently in a relationship with former farm manager, Caryn Chandler. 

“While Amy puts commitment at or near the top of her list, I would put it further down,” he wrote. “Amy tends to be more of a committed-to-a-fault kind of person, while I see most commitments — with some very notable exceptions — as flexible and negotiable.”

Matt and Amy have been at odds over Matt’s decision to sell a section of Roloff Farms, after rejecting offers for the property from two of their sons. Zach and twin brother, Jeremy.
