Heather Dubrow Wants to Jump From ‘RHOC’ To ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ — She’s ‘Above’ Tamra Judge!
Heather Dubrow wants to jump franchises from The Real Housewives of Orange County to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Radar Online reports.
Insiders claim that the 53-year-old reality star believes the Orange County cast is beneath her and that she would fit in better with the ladies from Beverly Hills.
“She just thinks she’s a class above her O.C. castmates, Tamra Judge included,” the source said.
“She thinks she’d be a better fit” with the Beverly Hills cast mates,” the source spilled.
Heather, who is currently filming RHOC Season 17, made no secret of the fact that she’d be open to a cast swap during her BravoCon appearance, last month.
“I mean, Garcelle [Beauvais] and I have been friends for a long time, [Lisa] Rinna and I have known each other,” she said at the NYC fan event. “I do enjoy diamonds — let’s be clear. We’ll see where the wind takes us.”
The chatter comes after Heather and her husband, plastic surgeon, Dr. Terry Dubrow, sold their Newport Beach house for $55 million and purchased a $21 million penthouse in Los Angeles. The 5300-square-foot Century City residence, which Roberto Cavalli designed, has 3 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills producers plan to kick off filming Season 13 in January, allowing the cast members a break after an intense Season 12. The entire cast, Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, Garcelle Beauvais, Crystal Minkoff, Sutton Stracke, Diana Jenkins, and Kathy Hilton, have yet to be officially asked back to film Season 13.
Sources told Radar that the ladies expect to know where they stand by Thanksgiving. Recent rumors claim that Bravo plans to axe Crystal and demote Dorit to a “friend.” There have also been circulating rumors alleging that former cast members, Lisa Vanderpump and Brandi Glanville could be making comebacks.
Meanwhile, Garcelle recently announced that she was taking a “mental break” from all things “Housewives” after a rough Season 12.
“Guys it’s been a hell of a season #rhobh i’m taking a mental break from it! When there’s something important to talk about I’ll talk about it,” the actress tweeted, last week.
The 55-year-old reality star recently expressed appreciation to Bravo executive, Andy Cohen, for reaching out to her after he joked with Lisa Rinna and Erika Jayne as they chatted about trashing her memoir, ‘Love Me As I Am’ during the RHOBH reunion.
“We spoke. Absolutely. He called me before he put out the apology and, you know, he’s great,” the Bravo star said.
“There were a lot of things that were missed during the reunion and it was really sad and unfortunate, but, I like Andy and I think the fact that he stood up and said something meant a lot,” Garcelle added.
Andy later addressed incensed fans by issuing an apology on his SiriusXM show, Radio Andy.
He explained—“Everybody’s been talking about the Beverly Hills reunion. And I just want to say, I’ve been listening to everyone’s feedback about the reunion, and I really need to sincerely apologize, not only for diverting the topic but for not returning — even worse — to the serious conversation that was at hand.”
