Sister Wives star, Meri Brown, is having a hard time filling spots at her bed and breakfast for an upcoming retreat, after being slammed for the cost to attend the event.

The 51-year-old reality star took to Facebook on Monday to announce that there were still available spots at Lizzie’s Heritage Inn for the upcoming retreat, scheduled for November 17-20.

“You guys!! I know it’s getting close, but if you want to come to this amazing retreat in a couple weeks to get energized and ready for the holidays, I’ve got a couple spots that just opened up!” she wrote alongside a promo for the event. “You get your own flight to Salt Lake City (SLC) or Las Vegas (LAS), the B&B is centered between the two, about 3 hours from each, get a rental or shuttle up to Parowan, and I take care of the rest!”

The TLC star concluded—“It’ll be four days of fun, adventure, connection, and empowerment!”

Meri initially announced the event on October 10, encouraging her followers to sign up to enjoy a “a little bit of a break to pump you up for the holidays.”

She explained that the retreat will focus on “connection” and “inspiration” before revealing that the event would cost attendees “between $4,500 to $6,400 depending on if you want the VIP treatment or not.”

Meri’s followers flooded the comment section to call her out for the retreat’s exorbitant price tag.

One person wrote—“Wow! That pricing is absolutely insane! You have officially lost my respect. You are using whatever ‘celebrity’ status you have to cheat people out of a ton of $.”

Another noted—“Yikes. I can go to Disney World for that price.”

A Facebook user asked—“What are you serving for breakfast….gold? 4500.00????”

The inn’s website details what an attendee receives for a standard $4500 package—four days and three nights at the inn, three daily meals, two to five daily activities, morning mindfulness and evening fire-pit hangs, a goodie bag, transportation services and an opportunity to mingle with the TLC personality.

The VIP packages, ranging from $6,000-$6,400—include private accommodations at Lizzie’s Heritage Inn and bonus hang time with Kody Brown’s first wife.

Some of Meri’s followers said that they’d like to attend the event but could not afford the pricey packages.

One fan said—“Oh wow. I really need a break. I really wish I could afford it.”

Kody Brown

Kody suggested in a recent episode of Sister Wives that Meri move to Utah to take over her family inn, after the passing of her mother, Bonnie.

Kody actually said to me the other day, he said, ‘Why don’t you just move up there?’ So I’m like, ‘Uhh, that was not my intention,’” Meri, who shares only a platonic relationship with Kody, said. “I told him I didn’t want to. I told him I had no intention of doing that, and he was kind of surprised. He’s like, ‘Oh, really?’ I guess I’m just still in this place with him or he’s in this place where he thinks the point of me buying this was to get away and that saddens me a lot.”
