90 Day Fiancé’s Usman Umar Meets ‘Pretty’ First Wife Candidate After Accepting Kim’s Proposal!

Kim Menzies’ worst nightmare might become reality on the upcoming episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?. Kim’s fiancé, Usman “Sojaboy” Umar, meets the woman his mother wants him to marry for the first time — and she’s beautiful. Usman, 33, confirms that he wants to get to know his potential bride better in a teaser for the upcoming episode. 

“I wanted to leave as soon as I arrived, but seeing you’re pretty, I got excited,” Usman says in the preview. 

He adds—“I need to get your phone number.”

Kim sent Usman off to meet the woman during the most recent episode of the TLC show but was clearly concerned that the pair might hit it off.  

She shares her thoughts in a confessional spot, admitting that she was upset over Usman connecting with another woman, during her visit.

“I’m here in his country and the reality hit me — this f—er just went to go meet this woman,” Kim remarks.

Fans watched Kim prepare a lavish proposal during Sunday’s episode, complete with rose petals and candles. Usman spoke to cameras about the “touching” moment. 

“When Kimberly goes down on one knee, it’s not my culture — but it’s beautiful,” he said in a confessional. “She’s trying to show me how much she love me, and how she’s ready to do to me regardless of anything that’s going to happen. I have to accept it. It’s something touching, actually.”

Usman added, “Look how she takes so much time decorating the whole house. It’s so romantic, and I feel loved.”

TLC followed Kim, 52, to Sokoto, Nigeria, where she hoped to receive the blessing of Usman’s mother, allowing the couple to move forward with their marriage. The meeting did not go well, even after Kim gifted the family with a cow.  

Kim pointed out that allowing Usman to have children with a second wife was a big step for an American woman. 

“Me allowing him to have a second wife, that’s a lot for me in my culture,” she explained to Usman’s family members.  

The duo had previously agreed that Usman would be allowed to marry a second wife in order to father a child. Usman’s mother listened to their plan but firmly stated that her son should marry a younger, local woman as his first wife. She also expressed concern that he would run from Nigeria to follow Kim to America. 

Usman’s mother eventually agreed to bless the union, but only if her son agreed to marry a younger woman who could give him children, before taking Kim as his second wife. 

Kim made it clear that she was unwilling to give up the top wife spot, and remains hopeful that she can convince Usman’s family that she’s worthy of the title.
