Wendy Williamsfinancial advisor says she had to hire 24-hour security because of death threats to her and her family.

Lori Schiller told Page Six that she and her family have been living in fear after Wendy Williams’ claim that she and Wells Fargo were keeping her from her money. Lori added that her continued work on the talk show host’s account was putting her life in danger. “I have 24-hour armed police officers outside of my house kind of vetting everyone that comes to my front door. It’s starting to affect my life. I’m a prisoner in my own home. I’m kind of living in my own personal hell here,” she explained.

Schiller also revealed that she is still the lead advisor on Wendy Williams’ account despite what she had said earlier. The Wells Fargo employee also said she has been having “all positive” conversations with Wendy, 58. Lori also said that she has been applauded by the bank internally for looking after Wendy’s best’s financial interests; however, Wells Fargo has refused to publicly support her. “All I’ve done was follow the law to the tee, and I’ve been praised by Wells Fargo for all of my efforts. I’ve given them ample time and come to my defense and make a statement and for some reason they just are putting it to the side.”

Due to the gag order placed on Wendy’s case against Wells Fargo, Lori said she couldn’t speak much about what was going on. She did clarify that the bank and not her pursued the guardianship for the former talk show host because of a pattern of issues that were made apparent. “Wells Fargo took the lead. I just don’t think people understand the complexities of what goes on behind the scenes. It’s a really bad time for guardianships,” Schiller explained. She also said that through the guardianship, Wendy would have access to her money if it involved her livelihood, but not the guardian will object to any requests that seem to be from someone exerting undue influence on Wendy.

The financial advisor also revealed that she was being blamed for Wendy going into rehab. Schiller said it is not fair that she is getting death threats for just doing her job. “I do not want to leave Wells Fargo. I want to make it work. I’ve given them 10 months of my life to come to my defense. They need to do the right thing. It’s really more about my future career to grow my career from here, to set the record straight.” Wendy completed her treatment in October and reps say she is doing great. Wendy said in a statement, “Thank you to my fans for your love, support, and many prayers, I am back and better than ever.”
