Sister Wives’ Meri Brown Honors Late Grandmother Amid Kody’s Abandonment!
Sister Wives star, Meri Brown, paid tribute to her late grandmother with a touching Instagram post.
Merri, 51, captioned her post, “Happiest of Halloween Birthday’s today to my sweet, loving, loyal, beautiful, ambitious, tenacious, amazing grandmother.” Meri posted two photos of her late family member alongside the lengthy caption. “She was one of those rare women, a true queen. Always a smile on her face, always offering a helping hand, and always a giving heart. To be like her in every way is what I aspire to.” Brown had also included a photo of Lizzie’s Heritage Inn, where her grandmother grew up.
The Sister Wives star said it was an honor and a privilege to be surrounded by her late grandmother’s energy and vivid memory as she walked down the halls. “Her mother, Lizzie, raised her to be the amazing woman she was, she in turn raised my mom to be a woman of goodness and strength, amd [sic] I only hope that part of that trickles down to me in some small way,” Meri wrote. She finished her post by saying it was an honor to be part of such an amazing legacy, before wishing her grandma a sweet happy birthday.
Last year, Brown lost her mother suddenly at the age of 76. She posted the sad news to her Instagram account in March 2021. “76 years and 17 days was not enough time for the world to feel the beautiful spirit of this beautiful woman. This woman whose life mission was to give, to love, to serve,” Meri wrote. The TLC star continued, “Mom, I love you beyond the words I can express here, but I know you know that. You are loved, you are missed, and I know you are so happy celebrating on the other side with dad, hugging your daughter and son who left us too soon, reuniting with your parents, and getting to know your dad. Love them all, hug them all, and be happy. Or rather, just continue filling that space around you with the light that you always do. I love you Mom.”
Despite all the loss she has been through, Meri is still living life to the fullest. Brown posted a selfie of herself to her social media and captioned it, “I celebrate my wins, I cheer my people on. I don’t let things get me down, at least not for long. (We all need to take a breather once in a while lol!)”
