Joe Gorga Says Teresa Giudice & Luis Ruelas Will Divorce Soon!
Real Housewives of New Jersey star, Joe Gorga, said his career will last longer than Teresa Guidice’s marriage!
When Joe Gorga was asked if he thinks his sister’s marriage to Luis Ruelas will last, he gave fans a surprising answer. Teresa and Luis got married in August 2022 at the Park Chateau and Gardens in East Brunswick, New Jersey. Joe, 42, and his wife Melissa skipped the wedding after a disagreement with Teresa Guidice. During BravoCon 2022’s live taping of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Joe joined other guests in playing “Truth or Drink.” Andy asked the messy question, “What do you think will last longer: Joe’s stand-up career or Luis and Teresa’s marriage?”
Gorga’s wife, Melissa, sipped her drink instead of answering Andy’s question, but Joe didn’t hold back and gave his honest answer. “I’m gonna answer the question. My stand-up career, baby!” Gorga added, “I said it. I’m so funny!” Apart from being a star on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Joe is also a comedian who started his stand-up career in 2019. According to Page Six, he started performing in different venues like Hard Rock Hotel, casinos in Atlantic City, and Caroline’s on Broadway but wasn’t received well by fans.
In December 2021, TMZ shared a clip of Joe performing at Governor’s Comedy Club in New York City and noted that he bombed during his set and cursed at the audience. Joe’s manager, Mike Martocci, said his client was just sick. “Joe was sick that day. He had a cold. He took Sudafed and then had a couple of Scotches. It just hit him when he went on stage. We came back the next night and he made a joke about it.” Despite not believing in his sister’s marriage, Joe spoke highly about his brother-in-law and sister to People, “She is the older one in our family, she’s my older sister, and whatever she says, goes. I’ve done everything right, I really have. I respected her, I loved her, I respected Louie and my wife has respected her.”
Joe also told Us Weekly that he gave his approval to Luis in Greece and almost cried when he heard the engagement news. “She needed that Superman to come in and take her life and fix it, and that’s what he’s doing. I always said she needed a beast of a man, and he is one of them.”
