Why Crystal Kung-Minkoff’s 14 Friends Stopped Talking to Her After Comparing Notes!
Teddi Mellencamp has revealed the real reason why Crystal King-Minkoff fell out with her 14 friends!
Ever since Lisa Rinna exposed her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star Crystal for breaking up with close to 14 of her girlfriends during a confessional, more information has come out about the incident. At the time, Mellencamp said that some of the friends reached out to her in her DMs to explain what happened, but she didn’t want to get in the middle. In a recent episode of her podcast, Two T’s In A Pod, the host explained to listeners what really happened. “Crystal not only had an issue where all these really rich women compared notes and had issues with her talking about them behind her back … she also told one of these rich women she would never do Housewives, told her not to do Housewives, and then did Housewives.”
Teddi clarified to her followers that the “group of friends” in question were not the same women she had come to know with Crystal. “My Mommy and Me group with Crystal’s completely separate from these rich girls.” In June, when Teddi had first spoken about the topic on her podcast, she said, “It’s a group of girls, we’re talking like [RHOBH]-type women just not with cameras, and there’s going to be two sides, but in every friend group do people gossip about each other? Yes, so I think that was what was happening.” The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star also said that Crystal had confided in one person about the group and they ended up outing her to them.
Crystal responded to the issue in a fan’s comment section where they asked for clarification. “It was only three people, the rest came back and apologized.” She also told Entertainment Tonight that her drama with the 14 friends was about her joining Housewives. “It was actually about the show, that is why it doesn’t go on air. It’s breaking the fourth wall.” Crystal added that her friends might have been jealous of her being cast on the reality show. “Sometimes people don’t want you to sort of walk out of the bubble they’re used to.”
