‘Little People, Big World’ Alum Jacob Roloff and Wife Move to Roloff Farms Amid Father Matt’s Feud with Oldest Sons!
Jacob Roloff and his family have moved to Roloff Farms amid his father Matt Roloff’s ongoing feud with Jacob’s older brothers, Jeremy Roloff and Little People, Big World star, Zach Roloff.
Jacob, 25, and his wife, Isabel, 26, have moved into a fifth-wheel camper on privately owned land beside the family farm, per a report by The Sun. The private property is currently under major construction.
“Jacob and Isabel are living on the farm full time,” a source told the outlet. “They were renting a place previously, and are saving up while on the farm.”
The insider added that the couple is also considering converting a bus into a temporary home. It is unclear if Jacob and Isabel’s future home is being built on the property, or if the couple is only living there temporarily.
“[Jacob and Isabel] are living there to save money and help out on the farm,” the tipster explained. “The rest of the family doesn’t mind, as Matt and Caryn get along so well with them.”
A second source claimed that Matt, 60, and his girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, 53, help out with the couple’s 10-month-old son, Mateo, while Jacob works on the farm and Isabel greets visitors. Matt’s ex-wife, Amy Roloff, has been mixing with fans during this year’s pumpkin season, and her husband, Chris Marek, also helps care for Mateo, according to the report.
The source said that Jacob is a hard worker who appreciates his father’s generosity. In January, Matt gifted his youngest child with his own bright yellow vintage car for his birthday, amid rumors that Jacob had been set up to take over Roloff Farms.
Meanwhile, Zach and Jeremy have not taken part in the clan’s busiest time of the year—pumpkin season. Jeremy and his wife, Audrey, recently moved into their own $1.5 million farm, and Zach moved to an area 45 minutes from the farm, a year ago. Zach announced over the summer that he would not be helping out during pumpkin season—shocking his fans and followers. Matt clashed with Zach last season after the pair failed to strike a deal after Zach offered to purchase a portion of the farm.
“My dad and I could not come to an agreement on buying the farm, so with everything going on, I made the decision not to work pumpkin season,” Zach said in a confessional spot, in a previous episode.
He added—“I’m disenchanted by the whole thing, so, yeah. I’m stepping away.”
In May, Matt put 16 acres of the family property on the market for $4 million, sparking a bitter family feud. Zach slammed his father as someone who doesn’t “value his family.”
Amy ripped into Matt during the most recent season’s finale episode, after he rejected offers from both Jeremy and Zach.
“I think you went crazy or something,” she told her ex. “I don’t know the details of the negotiation with the two boys. For the price it is, the kids can’t afford that.”
“The good news is, there are 93 acres for this family,” he responded.
“No, there are 93 acres for Matt Roloff,” Amy fired back. “It’s not part of the family anymore.”
“Matt would prefer Jacob and wife, Isabel, to take over the farm, but he’s not sure they are on board at the moment,” a family source told The Sun, in April.
“He is the youngest son, but Matt knows Jacob has potential. They are on the farm a lot, and Matt thinks this is a good way to teach him a lot of things he needs to learn.”
A brand new season of Little People, Big World premieres Tuesday, November 1 at 9 pm ET on TLC.
