Teresa Giudice & Husband Luis Ruelas Don’t Have A Prenup!
Teresa Giudice and her husband, Luis Ruelas, shocked fans when they found out the newlyweds didn’t sign a prenup!
During a live taping of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, at BravoCon 2022, Teresa answered a few of her fans’ questions. One Real Housewives of New Jersey fan, who came to the event dressed as Teresa during her August wedding to Luis, had a very interesting question. They asked, “We love you. We love you and Louie’s love. And I wonder, did you happen to follow Uncle Andy’s advice and get a prenup?” Guidice happily responded to the fan, “No. True Love. True love. Yes.” The news shocked the audience, but Andy Cohen, 54, didn’t seem fazed by the answer.
Guidice had said she has no interest in signing a prenup during an episode of Watch What Happens Live in February. When Andy asked the RHONJ star about the prenup, she said, “No, I mean I don’t know.” Teresa’s 21-year-old daughter also weighed in on the prenup drama and asked why her mother would want to sign a prenup. A shocked Andy then added, “Why wouldn’t she sign a prenup? Why wouldn’t she sign a prenup to protect what she has and to protect what he has?” Gia explained to him that when her mother married Joe Giudice in 1999, he made her sign a prenup, and she didn’t like it.
Gia also said that she doesn’t think Luis would want to take anything from her mother. “My dad really did make her sign a prenup before the wedding … I don’t know, I think my mom, she’s so high up that she’s not gonna want to take anything from him, and I think he would never want to take from her.” The executive producer insisted on the importance of Teresa and Luis signing the document. “I know, but you put it in writing! You just put it in writing, but, of course, they don’t want to take anything from each other.” Real Housewives of New Jersey fans were not happy with the news that Teresa and Luis didn’t sign a prenup.
One person tweeted, “True love doesn’t have a thing to do with my bank account. But you can’t help stupid!” Another person tweeted about Teresa’s decision. “Teresa is stupid! She should have gotten a prenup to protect her daughters and herself. True love goes out the window during an ugly divorce. I hope they make it but if not she is going to wish she has a #prenup.”
