Kandi Burruss & Kenya Moore Slam Shereé Whitfield’s New Man Martell Holt!
Kandi Burruss and Kenya Moore made it clear that they are not the biggest fans of Shereé Whitfield’s relationship with Martell Holt.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 15 began filming recently and the stars already have some things to say about Shereé’s new man, Martell. During BravoCon 2022, Kandi, 41, teased Us Weekly that filming began with a bang, “Honey, didn’t I tell you that the first week started off with a bang? They told me I can’t give you any secrets, but I’ll say that.” The ladies all came together for their first group event for season 15 during a birthday party hosted by Sanya Richards-Ross for her husband Ross’ 40th birthday. Shereé, 52, attended the event with Martell as her date and it got a lot of fans talking.
Kenya also spoke about her friend’s new beau and said she could do better than the Love & Marriage: Huntsville star. “I want Shereé to be happy. I want her to pick better. I think she’s a good pick, but I don’t think she’s [got] a good picker.” Despite her co-star’s negative comments about her new boyfriend, the She by Shereé designer said that she is happy in her relationship. “I am having a good time. I’m just, you know, we enjoy each other. I’m dating and I don’t take anything too [seriously] right now.” Shereé also doesn’t know why Kenya has such an attitude about Martell when she always has good things to say about him when they text.
“It’s so funny that Kenya [disapproves of Martell] because every time she would text me or I would talk to her, she’s asking about him. So then, to get where she is now, and some things that happen is kind of crazy to me, but hopefully, everything can be worked out.” Shereé added, “[It’s] so funny because they don’t know him.” She continued, “But, I mean, no one was a big fan of Todd [Tucker, Kandi’s husband] when he first came on.” Not everyone on The Real Housewives of Atlanta has a problem with Shereé and Martell dating. Sanya is actually a fan of their relationship.
Sanya, 37, told Us during a BravoCon interview that she is aware of Martell’s reputation, but after going on a double date with the couple, she feels they are good together. “When I’m with them, it feels very real. It feels like there’s a lot of, like, I know she’s just having fun. She’s like, ‘Listen, I’m not looking for a husband,’ but I like their energy together.”
