Lisa Rinna SNAPS After Fans Boo Her At BravoCon!
Lisa Rinna was booed by fans after the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star took the stage in a surprise appearance at BravoCon Friday. The reality star shocked the audience when she joined the RHOBH panel, as it was reported that she would not attend the event.
Rinna was greeted with a mix of cheers and boos when she took the stage to sit alongside co-stars, Kyle Richards, Garcelle Beauvais, Erika Jayne, Crystal Kung Minkoff, Dorit Kemsley, and Sutton Stracke. Rinna responded by flipping off the crowd before taking her place beside Crystal.
“I’m a f—king rock star,” Rinna told Page Six and other media outlets when asked about the fan reaction.
Erika and Dorit also commented on the crowd response, sharing their thoughts on how Rinna was received by the BravoCon attendees.
Erika explained that mixed feedback comes with the territory.
“There’s no consoling Rinna. We are here in a live audience, and people do that. You get cheers, you get boos,” Erika noted. “And that’s part of being a performer. She’s a performer. She knows what it is. We all know what this is, so the audience is allowed to feel whatever way they want to. Clap and boo. That’s part of a live audience.”
Dorit described the awkward moment as “intense.”
“Oh my God, it was so intense. Brad Goreski did an amazing job [moderating the panel]. I didn’t like when Lisa was booed,” she explained. “I didn’t like to see that at all. I mean, listen, it can get intense. The fans are intense. I don’t like the hecklers, but I do love the love.”
Viewers have seemingly sided with Kathy Hilton amid Rinna’s campaign to spotlight the socialite’s alleged Aspen “meltdown.” Kathy apologized for her behavior on the show but rejected Rinna’s version of events. Kathy doubled down during the Season 12 reunion, labeling Rinna “the biggest bully in Hollywood.” The actress fired back by owning the title on Instagram, writing — “The biggest bully in Hollywood, And everyone knows it.”
Rinna addressed fan backlash surrounding her own Season 12 behavior during the panel discussion.
“I’m my own worst enemy. I mean, I think we all are when we take a look at it,” she said.
The former soap opera actress admitted that her social media antics often land her in hot water.
“I will say that that is kind of how I reacted to everything this year, and I wouldn’t recommend it,” she said.
Rinna told the audience that being a reality star comes with stress.
“I used to say that being on a soap opera was more difficult than being a housewife, but it’s more difficult to be a housewife. Way more difficult,” she said.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion continues on Wednesday at 8 pm, ET, on Bravo.
