BravoCon Compared To Fyre Festival After Chaos Erupts…Security Bum-Rushed!
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills panel at BravoCon caused complete mayhem on Friday, Oct 14 at Javits Convention Center, in NYC. Impatient crowds bum-rushed security and trampled fans after waiting hours in long lines.
The 3-day event has been described as “Black Friday Wal-Mart,” “chaotic,” “loud,” and “unorganized.
Celebrity blogger, Amir Yass, exclusively spoke to All About The Tea about the chaotic scene that unfolded before the RHOBH cast took the stage at BravoCon.
“Loads of people were waiting in line then started running like it was Black Friday and security couldn’t deal with the mess.” Amir Yass shared with All About The Tea.
Amir Yass described how SVIP and VIP ticket holders, who spent thousands to attend, were forced to stand throughout the lengthy panel discussion, “They had to put people in standing room only and the VIP people were pissed that they had to stand.” Amir compared the pandemonium and lack of organization to the infamous “Fyre Festival” flop.

Another eyewitness posted a video and wrote, “Waiting hours in lines for panels only for there to be stampedes in, no chairs, people camping out all day to not let others in, no use of the RFID bands. It’s a shit show.”
Shame on @BravoTV. #BravoCon is the new Fyre Festival.

Garcelle Beauvais, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, Crystal Kung Minkoff, Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna and Sutton Stracke almost did not take the stage after the Fire Marshal threatened to shut down the entire event after people blocked entranceways and exits. This prompted Bravo fans to sit on each other’s laps and the floor.
BravoCon 2022 kicked off on October 14 with fans paying big bucks to meet their favorite Bravolebrities at the three-day event — which had panels of cast members from various shows.
Eventually, security got the crowd under control and the RHOBH cast took the stage. Lisa Rinna was booed mercilessly as she walked out to the crowd.
Other eyewitnesses sounded off on social media. One person shared, “To spend all the $$$ to come to #BRAVOCON22 to get long lines for everything, bad seats in panels, and angry white women ready to stampede a stage…Bravo needs to go on pause…don’t mess with bravofans.”
A second person stated, “Is #BravoCon22 the new Frye festival?! My VIP ticket view…. Meanwhile empty SVIP seats. Crowd rioting and security kicking them out.”
Someone else wrote, “@BravoTV your crowd is discussing how disappointed we all are at the lack of organization! It’s not hard to dismiss the word coming out of her mouth:!T E R R I B L E. Why pay VIP? Why am I scared to be stampeded rn? @Andy#rhobh #BravoCon #BRAVOCON22.
Another commented about wanting a refund, “This has been an awful experience if you purchased VIP tickets. I purchased them in 2019 and it was entirely different experience. We need refunds prompt! #BRAVOCON22 #WWHL
Bravo responded to the havoc by issuing the following statement:
“There was an issue where we failed to clear the room after one panel ended while the audience for the RHOBH panel entered causing an over-capacity issue. Security acted immediately to ensure the safety for all present. We absolutely want to ensure that everyone has the weekend and experiences they came for.”
