Cardi B Files Motion To Garnish Tasha K’s YouTube Earnings Over $3 Million Judgement!

Cardi B is not letting Tasha K get away with the money she owes her and is set to garnish Tasha K’s bank account and YouTube earnings. 

After Tasha K was found guilty of defaming Cardi B, she was ordered to pay over $3 million to the award-winning rapper. However, since the verdict, it seems Cardi hasn’t been getting any money from the YouTuber which has forced her to file motions to get her to pay up. The jury awarded Cardi $1 million in damages, $250k in medical expenses, $1.5 million in punitive damages, and $1.3 million in attorney fees. According to Radar Online, Cardi is requesting Google to hand over any profits from Tasha K’s YouTube account where she has a huge following. 

Tasha K filed an appeal of the judgment, but the judge is yet to rule on it, so Cardi has gone ahead to start claiming the YouTuber’s earnings. The “Bodak Yellow” singer argued that Tasha failed to put up a multi-million dollar bond which would have stopped her from seizing assets. So Cardi demands that Google, which owns YouTube, hold out any money they pay to Tasha. Since Tasha has more than 1 million subscribers on her channel, UNWINEWITHTASHAK, Cardi is targeting the thousands of dollars she makes talking about trending topics. 

The motion filed stated, “YOU ARE HEREBY COMMANDED to immediately hold all money, including wages, and other property, except what is known to be exempt, belonging to the Defendant or obligations owed to the Defendant named above beginning on the day of service of this summons and including the next 1,095 days.” Earlier, Cardi filed a notice with JP Morgan Chase, where Tasha K’s money is held, to give up Tasha’s earnings because of the court judgment. However, the rapper was shocked to find out that Tasha only had $1,082 in her account. 

Tasha K trolled Cardi after news of the money in Tasha’s bank account leaked to the press. The YouTuber filmed a video where she was leaving one of the bank’s branches with a check of $1,000 in her account and said that she would give it away to one lucky follower. One fan tweeted about the situation saying, “Tasha K having $1,000 in her bank account waiting on Cardi is so funny cause she knew from the jump she was just goin glee [sic] the country, sell her assets and never pay that ladyx [sic] Just childish.”
