Cancer Institute Puts Lisa Rinna On Blast!
Lisa Rinna is getting called out by a cancer institute for spreading misinformation to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills viewers.
The American Institute of Cancer Research came out to slam Lisa Rinna for using cancer as a form of “emotional blackmail” in order to air her grievances about one of her co-stars. During the season finale episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Lisa insisted that she would “get sick and get cancer” if she didn’t expose Kathy Hilton’s meltdown.
The Rinna Beauty owner also said, “It’s hard to get past what I had just been through with Kathy. I am very, very in shock, still. And I am putting on a brave face because I feel PTSD.” A spokesperson for the research institute told TMZ that Lisa was totally wrong in her understanding of the illness and misinformed on how it enters the body.
The spokesperson stated that there is no strong evidence to support the statement that cancer can be caused by stress. They also said that Rinna must have gotten her information from an unreputable source. The researchers finally said that the Bravo star “has taken a popular (but likely false) concept” and spewed it to the masses — just to rationalize stirring up drama. The drama in question that Lisa was trying to stir up was the nasty words she heard Kathy say about her co-stars and sister, Kyle Richards. The soap actress said that when she escorted Kathy back to the house, following Kathy’s meltdown at a nightclub in Aspen, Kathy threw her sunglasses and said she made Kyle.
According to Rinna, Kathy also said, “I’m going to take down NBC, Bravo. I will take down the show single-handedly. I will f–king ruin you all.” Paris and Nicky’s mother allegedly came for their aunt saying, “I will destroy Kyle and her entire family if it is the last thing I do!” Hilton came after Rinna during the season 12 reunion if the trailer is anything to go by.
In one scene from the clip, Kathy calls Lisa the “biggest bully in Hollywood.” Kathy exclaimed, “You fight with everybody. What you did to my sister, and you drove Lisa Vanderpump off the show. I mean the list can go on and on. You are the biggest bully in Hollywood and everyone knows it.” By the end of the reunion, Kyle was bawling and asking Andy Cohen if she could skip the toast and go home because of everything that had gone down.
