Meghan King’s Ex-Husband Cuffe Owens Wants NOTHING To Do With Her!
Meghan King revealed in a recent interview that she’s had no communication with her ex-husband, Cuffe Owens, since their split.
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum spoke about where her relationship with Joe Biden’s nephew stands right now. Meghan, 38, explained on the Tuesday episode of Lala Kent’s ‘Give Them Lala’ podcast why she and Cuffe don’t talk anymore. “Why would [we] talk? There’s no reason to keep it going. It was annulled, so there’s no property to split, anything.” Lala agreed with her guest adding, “What’s the point of talking after that? There’s no reason. Just call it a day, have a good life.”
Lala Kent noted during the podcast episode that it was a cool story to tell friends that Joe Biden attended Meghan’s wedding. Meghan did reveal some details about her wedding day, saying it was kind of crazy. King said that her wedding to Owens was an intimate family affair, except for the dozens of Secret Service agents who were as many as the guests. She also spoke about the heavy security that was present, noting that there were even snipers around. “It was at Cuffe’s parents’ house and when I was driving there on the highway, all the exits were shut down and the police were at the exits. The whole street was shut down that the wedding was done. Snipers, yeah.”
Meghan King and Cuffe Owens got married in October 2021, but their marriage didn’t last long and was annulled in December 2021. King told Us Weekly in September that Cuffe was actually the one that pushed for their marriage. “I never even wanted to get married again, but, like, I have such a big heart and I just want my partner to be happy and I know what it’s like to go into a relationship that already has a family. Like, I have three kids. I did that with my ex-husband. [Jimmy] had four kids when I went into that family. So I know what it feels like to want to be a part of that unit.”
Before marrying Joe Biden’s nephew, King was married to Brad McDill from 2007 to 2011. After that relationship, Meghan got married to Jim Edmonds from 2014 to 2019. The RHOC alum shares three children with her ex-husband — Aspen and twins, Hart and Hayes.
