Rebecca Romijn Busts Friend Lisa Rinna For ‘Exaggerating’ Kathy Hilton Outburst!
Many Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans continue to ask questions in the wake of the recently aired cast trip to Aspen. Lisa Rinna alleged that Kathy Hilton exploded in a tirade during the getaway, threatening Bravo, NBC, and even her own sister, Kyle Richards, in an off-camera meltdown. Kathy confessed to dissing her sis during a filmed sit-down at Kyle’s home but refused to go further when Rinna pushed her to admit other offenses. A social media war has been playing out in real-time between the cast mates, further confusing the matter.
Rinna’s friend and X-Men star, Rebecca Romijn, spoke to the situation during a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live. Rebecca was asked to weigh in on her pal’s social media game, and comment on her claim that she’s the “LeBron James” of “Housewives.”
Rebecca confirmed the pair’s personal relationship and added that she “love[s] Lisa,” but admitted that the RHOBH star tends to exaggerate.
“Whoa!” Rebecca said.
The actress recognized Rinna as a “solid cast member,” but added —“I sometimes can’t tell if she’s exaggerating certain things.”
Rebecca admitted that she didn’t trust Rinna’s story about the Aspen drama.
“I don’t know about the Kathy Hilton meltdown, and her take on that,” the actress said. “Sometimes I can’t… assess her take on certain things.”

Rinna has a history of firing back when her behavior is called out on the Bravo chat show. Earlier this season, she released a flood of receipts after her co-star, Sutton Stracke, dared to question her take on a narrative.
Kyle recently debunked a rumor that circulated ahead of the Colorado episodes, which accused Kathy of calling Sutton’s assistant a homophobic slur. Kyle defended her sister last week during an appearance on the RHOBH After Show.
“I started reading lies in the tabloids. The things online that said what my sister said were not said,” Kyle explained.“It was directed towards me. Some people were saying she said something about Sutton’s assistant. It said something about when he was moving Sutton’s luggage… he wasn’t even in Aspen.”
Kyle added — “It’s one thing to say what really happened, and another thing for people to be creating and inventing things that my sister said that could be very damaging that actually weren’t true.”
Sutton called the rumor “ridiculous” and pointed out that her assistant wasn’t even present at the time.
She explained—“Josh, my assistant—he actually has a bigger job than that but I do like to keep him around — Josh was not in Aspen. He was never there. So that can be squashed.”
Sutton also noted that Josh and Kathy share a friendly, respectful relationship.
