The outlet reports that wedding invitations have already been sent out with strict instructions to keep ceremony details hush-hush. Multiple people on the list ignored the order and leaked the big news, according to the report. The wedding is expected to be filmed for TV, but it’s unclear if the nuptials will be aired on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
RHOA fans know that Porsha was hit with harsh fan backlash after dropping her engagement bombshell. The Bravo star was introduced to her future husband by his then-wife and Bravo co-star, Falynn Guobadia. Falynn revealed that the couple was ending their marriage in April 2021, and Porsha announced her engagement to Simon only a few weeks later, in May 2021.
“I asked her to marry me because we checked ALL of each other’s boxes, and then some,” Simon announced on Instagram.
“Our relationship began a month ago — yes we are crazy in love,” Porsha shared the same night, alongside a cozy selfie with Simon. “I know it’s fast but we are living life each day to its fullest. Tuning out all negative energy and only focused on positive wishes. He makes me so happy and to me, that is what matters most.”
Last December, Watch What Happens Live host, Andy Cohen, asked Porsha if the idea that she “stole” Simon from Falynn was the biggest fan misconception.
“I talked about it on the show at the beginning that I just beared through the tough social media bashing..all that. And it’s okay because I’m a grown woman and I make my choices,” Porsha replied, at the time.
“She’s also grown,” she added. “She has had her baby. Congratulations. I’m happy for her and her fiancé. It’s just grown folks making decisions. That’s all it is.”
Porsha noted—“I knew the optics weren’t great for the public and I know that y’all love me. I know that y’all love me and I know you didn’t understand at the time. And I am appreciative of those who get it now. Cause now it makes sense.”
Season 15 of the Bravo show reportedly began production earlier this week. Network sources told the outlet that Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, Sanya Richards-Ross, Drew Sidora, Sheree Whitfield, and Marlo Hampton will all hold full-time peaches.
Producers are reportedly working to convince Porsha to return to the series, but the former Bravo star is purportedly holding out for a massive paycheck. A source claimed that Porsha was offered a whopping $5 million for appearing on the upcoming RHOA season and a subsequent spinoff series. Porsha’s reps have been holding out for a higher payout, according to the report.
Producers have reportedly recruited beauty pro, Janell Stephens, to film with the RHOA ladies in the event that Porsha cannot be wooed back. Janell founded beauty brand, Camille Rose Naturals. Janell will purportedly get the green light if Porsha ultimately rejects Bravo’s offer.
