Kandi Burruss Returning to ‘RHOA’ With $2 Million Dollar Contract!

Real Housewives of Atlanta OG star, Kandi Burruss, got a huge pay to return to season 15 of the Bravo reality show. 

According to insiders close to production, Kandi signed a contract worth more than $2 million to return to the Atlanta show. She will join the rest of the season 14 cast which includes, Kenya Moore, Sanya Richards-Ross, Drew Sidora, Marlo Hampton, and Shereé Whitfield. The cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta will begin filming the new season on Monday next week. Their first all-cast event will be next weekend during Sanya’s husband’s birthday. Aaron Ross will be celebrating his 40th birthday on Saturday.

Rumors have it that Janell Stephens, who is the founder of Camille Rose Naturals, will also be joining the ladies of Atlanta in the upcoming season. Stephens hinted at her role on the Bravo show when she captioned a blog post on her Instagram Stories saying, “It’s rumored at the moment.”

Kandi slammed rumors by fans that alleged she was going to be fired by Bravo because of her seat position during the reunion. The singer/songwriter was seated at the far end of the couch, on Andy Cohen’s left side. During an Amazon Live interview, Burruss explained at the time that her seating had nothing to do with her contract. “The seat next to Andy is not about who has the most seniority or who’s making the most coin or who’s the most important, it’s about who was in the most mess that particular season.”

Before news of her contract came to light, Kandi said she would be at peace either way if the network asked her to return. “I don’t really think about it. It’s going to be what it’s going to be. I enjoy being a part of the Bravo family. Regardless of whatever, I’m still part of it.” She also clarified that fans shouldn’t expect to see her on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip anytime soon because she wouldn’t know anybody there.

“Because, like, anybody that I would have possibly wanted to — or felt comfortable being in a house with — they’ve already done it. I can’t be there with a whole bunch of different Housewives for some cattiness,” Kandi noted. Burruss added that she deals with enough of that while filming RHOA. “I’m doing this, this other show with my group Xscape … [I’m] like, ‘Oh, my God, I’m done with all these different females in one place.'”
