‘RHOBH’ Fans Believe Lisa Rinna LIED About Kathy Hilton’s Aspen Meltdown!

Lisa Rinna claimed that she had “seen the devil” after witnessing an incident involving Kyle Richards and Kyle’s sister and popular cast “friend,” Kathy Hilton, during a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast trip.

Rinna said in a confessional spot—“I feel like I have seen the devil. And her name is Kathy Hilton.”

Many fans are just not buying what Rinna has been selling. Some believe that Rinna is exaggerating her story for dramatic effect, others think that she wants to prove to viewers that Kathy is just not as nice as she appears. One opinion, cosigned by Kathy herself, is based on the idea that Rinna wants to lock down her cast spot for next season, amid rumors that the current one will be her last.

Rinna described what went down at Kyle’s vacation home, after she escorted Kathy away from the spot where she clashed with her sister.

“She takes her glasses off, she throws them on the ground, she’s jumping up and down, breaking her glasses. She’s pounding the walls and she’s screaming [that] she made Kyle, Kathy’s responsible for Kyle,” Rinna alleged about Kathy’s behavior. “And she said, ‘I will destroy Kyle and her family if it’s the last thing I ever do.’”

Kathy has yet to fully share her side of the story, only calling Rinna a “sweetheart” who “listened” to her during the sisterly spat. She denied that Rinna ever appeared “upset.”

It wasn’t long before opinions began to fly on social media, weighing in on Rinna’s story. 

Fans blamed Bravo for not delivering on the hyped drama, because nothing was caught on film or audio. Many viewers also dissed the actress as a less-than-credible source. 

One fan tweeted—“The second it was revealed that Rinna offered to take Kathy home and no cameras were around to film, the accusations lost all credibility.”

Another agreed—“So the big deal that would destroy Kathy‘s reputation was a temper tantrum with zero camera footage and only Rinna as a witness?”

A third chimed in—“When Rinna says she cannot repeat what Kathy said in the sprinter van, it is because she has not made it up yet.”

 

Viewers also didn’t cosign Rinna’s comment labeling Kathy jealous over Kyle’s success. 

One person wrote—“Throwing a tantrum because you’re not famous or successful enough feels more like a Lisa Rinna move than a Kathy Hilton move. Not buying it.”  

Some fans tweeted about Rinna’s tendency to exaggerate any dramatic opportunity to her own benefit. 

A Twitter user said—“Do I think Kathy probably said some really shitty things? Yep. Do I think Rinna is being overly dramatic and using this situation to her benefit? Yep. Am I looking forward to Kyle’s super annoying hoarse crying voice? Nope, not one bit.”

Another wrote—“I’ve watched Rinna since she started on #RHOBH She lies, makes up stories, exaggerates, throws vicious fits etc. I’m sure Kathy Hilton is no angel but I’d believe her over Rinna any day!”

Many people pointed out Rinna’s past pattern of spreading gossip about her co-stars. 

A viewer pointed out—“Lisa Rinna is at her happiest when spreading harmful untrue rumors about others. She has been doing this for years from Puppy Gate, Yolanda’s illness, Kim’s sobriety.  I don’t believe her at all about Kathy Hilton. I could drive a Mack Truck through the holes in her story.”
