Kyle Richards Says Her Therapist Told Her She’s Surrounded By ‘Toxic People!’

Kyle Richards spoke to the ongoing issues with her sister, Kathy Hilton, over the weekend, via a cryptic post on social media. 

Kathy and her daughters, Paris Hilton and Nicky Rothschild, have all thrown online shade at The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills veteran by “liking” certain social media posts. Kathy also reposted fan remarks taking aim at both Kyle and her husband, Mauricio Umansky, on her Instagram Stories, in the days following the aired sibling drama. Many fans believe that Kyle sabotaged her sister throughout the cast trip and pushed her to her breaking point. 

Kyle used a quote from “House of Leaders” to imply that she was “surrounded by the wrong people.”

Kyle wrote in a screenshot shared by “All About The Real Housewives”—“My therapist said ‘I don’t think you have social anxiety. I think you’re surrounded by the wrong people’ and that really hit me.” 

“The entire time you think it’s you, it may just be that the people around you are toxic or do not align with you. Be very very careful who you let in.”

Kyle spoke out about the moments leading up to her sister’s alleged off-camera meltdown, during Wednesday’s episode of the RHOBH After Show.  

Kyle said that emotions were running “high” at the time because the cast’s Colorado vacation was “going nonstop.” She said that she invited the group to a membership-only club, as an opportunity to slow down. 

“I invited everybody to this private club that we belong to,” Kyle explained. “And we had just arrived to this place, and my sister wanted me to leave, and I basically said, ‘I can’t, my guests aren’t even here yet.’ [That] is basically what happened, and that sparked everything.”

Kyle noted that while she was accustomed to being bossed around as the youngest of three siblings, she took issue with it as a grown adult. 

“I think being the younger sister, sometimes the older sisters will be like, kind of, ‘do this,’ or ‘do that,’ and I was like, ‘What? No. I’m an adult, and I can’t have somebody barking orders at me at my age and at the stage of my life,’” Kyle explained.

Fans know that Lisa Rinna claimed that she had witnessed an outburst so severe that it caused her to experience PTSD. Rinna accused the famous socialite of spewing hateful things about Kyle and her family, after verbally sparring with her younger sister. 

The former soap actress said in a confessional spot—“And she’s saying things like, ‘I’m going to take down NBC, Bravo… I will take down this show single-handedly. I will f–king ruin you all.’ What in the holy f–king hell?” 

One fan recently hypothesized that Rinna might be working to “save her job at @kathyhilton’s expense” in a comment posted on the ‘Behind the Velvet Rope’ podcast’s Instagram page.

Kathy cosigned the viewer, writing—“so true!!! I wish I could repost this.”

Bravo has teased an upcoming emotional discussion between Rinna, Kyle, and Kathy over the Aspen drama, which will be featured on Wednesday’s episode.
