One of the alleged victims of Tom Girardi, the estranged husband of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Erika Jayne, is demanding four old automobiles, as a form of debt settlement.

Radar Online obtained documents that reveal that a man named Jerry Hammonds had gotten creative amid an effort to collect the money allegedly owed to him by Tom and his defunct firm, Girardi Keese.

The former law firm has a working relationship with a business called Rest Your Case Storage. A company employee filed a court declaration explaining  that Hammonds had been in communication, demanding that they turn over automobiles given to them by Girardi Keese. The company said that they are holding evidence in the form of four cars, a 2006 Toyota Corolla, a 2001 Kia Sedona, a 2015 Mercedes Benz S550 and a 2017 Volkswagen Jetta, for the law firm.

The employee said that they had received multiple calls from individuals with “heart-breaking tales of having settled cases, but receiving nothing and being unable to afford life-saving surgery, or losing their homes.” The declaration stated that Hammonds was “quite insistent that he take the four wrecked cars, saying he was ‘owed’ them.”

The rep clarified that Hammonds admitted that he did not own any of the vehicles, and that his case did not involve Girardi Keese nor any accident connected to the cars. The rep said that Hammonds was seemingly owed funds connected to a drug lawsuit. The staffer explained that Hammonds became angry when he was told that the situation had to be handled in the bankruptcy court. He added that the man accused him of being “in on it.”

The company stated that the cars were not drivable but could bring in $1k if sold for scrap metal.

The judge has not yet ruled on the case.

Earlier this month, the trustee presiding over the bankruptcy of Tom’s shuttered firm filed a new lawsuit as part of the ongoing investigation.

The case revealed recent information regarding the deep dive into Tom’s finances.

The trustee explained in the lawsuit that Tom stands accused of misusing $2 million in settlement funds owed to family members of victims of a Boeing plane crash, to finance his lavish lifestyle with the reality star.

The trustee noted in the court docs that the $2 million “while shocking and unconscionable, is only the tip of the iceberg.”

The lawsuit read—“The Trustee’s investigation of the Firm’s financial records revealed that over the last ten years, Thomas and his cohorts stole at least $14,000,000 in settlement funds that should have gone to the Firm’s clients.”

The trustee stated that Tom used a trust account tied to his firm as “his personal piggy bank.” The lawyer allegedly deposited $41 million into the account to cover checks used to support the couple’s luxury lifestyle.

“The deposits were insufficient to cover his use of the funds,” the trustee explained.

The lawsuit revealed the massive number of claims filed against Tom’s estate—682 in total. The claims total, to date, is $495,912,891.48.

The trustee said that Tom was spending millions on “cars, furs, clothes, trips, and jewelry and other items for himself, his celebrity Real Housewives of Beverly Hills wife, Erika, and other friends and Girardi Keese employees and partners,” while bilking his clients and business partners.
