Robyn Brown BLASTED For Calling Her ‘Sister Wives’ Mentally Unstable!
Robyn Brown has landed in the hot seat with fans after she labeled her sister wives as mentally “messed up” on Sunday’s episode of Sister Wives.
Kody Brown’s four wives all sounded off about the patriarch’s absence from their everyday lives during the September 25 episode. The show has been documenting Kody’s third wife, Christine Brown’s decision to leave the plural marriage after 25 years.
Kody and Christine share six children—son Paedon, 23, and daughters Aspyn, 27, Mykelti, 26, Gwendlyn, 20, Ysabel, 19, and Truely, 12.
Fans know that the family was further splintered during the COVID pandemic, amid Kody’s strict restrictions.
Christine and Meri both weighed in on how Kody divided his time between his multiple wives.
“To me, he’s not here enough and it’s obvious he doesn’t want to be here, otherwise he would be here,” Christine said, during Sunday’s episode. “We’ve had a life without Kody here. It’s been a life without him.”
Meri, who shares only a platonic relationship with Kody, added—”It’s hard for him to sit down and focus, I mean he can, for sure, but he’s just high energy.”
Meri said—”We’ve had a lot of different living configurations over the years, and he is always just kind of going everywhere.”
Kody’s fourth and only legal wife, Robyn Brown, confirmed that she did not see things the same way.
“Plural marriage is challenging – it just is. Before Covid, Kody was splitting his time equally,” she said.
The TLC star added — “I know that when you’re a plural wife you get messed up in your head and you realize you’re not tracking it as well.”
Fans immediately put Robyn on blast, pointing out that she was the wife least affected by an absent husband and father.
One viewer wrote—“Robyn talks like she is the expert on plural marriage, out of all the wives she has lived it the least.”
Another said of Robyn’s controversial remark—“I can’t believe Robin would make the comment you’re just not tracking it as well. No the issue is they are tracking it and they know exactly where he is.”
Janelle, Kody’s second wife, admitted in a previous episode that Kody’s “preference” for Robyn was evident.
The mom of six pointed out that Kody had spent most of his time with Robyn in recent months, noting that “there has been a real preference for Robyn.”
Janelle commented—“I know what I need from Kody, and I know how to communicate with that to him. He does a pretty good job meeting it.”
“What I have now is adequate. It works for me,” she added. “But it does not look like Robyn’s relationship with him.”
Christine shared her belief that Robyn was Kody’s “favorite wife” in the premiere episode.
“I get to live life for me,” Christine recently said in an interview with People. “My whole world has changed, and every single cell in my body is happier.”
Sister Wives airs on Sundays at 10 pm, ET, on TLC.
