’90 Day Fiancé’ Yve Arellano Files for Divorce From Mohamed Abdelhamed!
Yve Arellano has filed for divorce from her Egyptian husband, Mohamed Abdelhamed, after only a few months together!
90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star, Yve, filed for divorce from Mohamed on September 22. The decision to separate legally comes after Mohamed filed domestic abuse charges against his estranged wife. According to the police report, Yve was charged with battery and assault against a family member after she tried to get Mohamed’s phone from him to see his messages. Mohamed claimed his wife gets violent and angry when she drinks too much. The Egyptian native also accused Yve of cheating, too, based on messages he found on her Apple Watch, but she denied those claims.
Mohamed claimed in his report to the police that Yve had threatened to have him deported back to Egypt which made him scared to even call the police. Mohamed moved out of the home he shared with Yve in Albuquerque after their altercation. However, Yve and her lawyers denied all of Abdelhamed’s claims about the nature of their relationship. A rep for Dominton Talent House, which represents Yve, said, “What Mohamed did is he created these false accusations so that just in case Yve wasn’t going to stick around he would have a backup plan which was the U-Visa. That way, he would stay in the U.S. and not get deported.” They continued to say that Mohamed has no evidence against their client since Yve had footage from that night and it doesn’t amount to much.
The divorce announcement doesn’t shock most 90 Day Fiancé fans who saw their separation coming from a mile away. One viewer tweeted, “When people show you who they are the first time believe them he constantly kept showing her who he was but she didn’t take heed.” Another person said, “He knew he was faking it. All he had to do was stick with the program and he would be on easy street with Yve and TLC. But immaturity and arrogance won that battle!!! Good luck to him, and she dodged a bullet!”
Fellow season 9 star, Jibri Bell, also said during the 90 Day Fiancé season 9 Tell All that Yve and Mohamed’s relationship would last, but he was wrong. A source close to Yve told Entertainment Tonight about Mohamed’s accusations — “We are just as shocked as everyone else because Yve has never hit him or abused him in any way so none of us are sure where this is coming from!”
