Mama June’s Daughter Pumpkin Gets REVENGE With Spinoff Excluding Her Mom!

Mama June’s daughter, Pumpkin, has begun filming a spin-off show with her newborn kids and family, as per The Sun.

A source close to the family revealed that Pumpkin, 22, and her family are joined on the new show with her small sister, Honey Boo Boo, and her boyfriend Dralin Carswell, 21. The new show, however, will not feature Pumpkin and Honey Boo Boo’s mother, Mama June, 42, who hasn’t been on the best terms with her daughters. Another source close to production revealed that fans can expect to see the family spend time together and take a trip to Vegas. Pumpkin and her husband, Josh, have been in talks for a spin-off show for a while now. A source said, “They are in talks about having their own show and they will be meeting about it in the next few weeks.”

Pumpkin and Josh share four children together; They welcomed twins, Sylus Ray Efird and Stella Renae Efird, on May 19 this year. Pumpkin was surrounded by family after giving birth to the twins but Mama June wasn’t able to be there. Pumpkin told The Sun, “The family is really happy. Things have been stressful adjusting to three babies under one-year-old and just five kids in general but it’s nothing me and Josh can’t handle. This just means life is a little more hectic but will be so worth it in the end.”

Mama June has been noticeably absent from Pumpkin and the babies’ lives since they were born. Another source close to the family said that though the Mama June: Road To Redemption star lives in Alabama, she has not been to Pumpkin’s house to help out. 

Mama June secretly married Justin Stroud in an Alabama courthouse in March. In an Instagram post, Pumpkin threw shade at Mama June for not having a relationship with her children: “Just putting this out into the air but it’s literally up to NO ONE but YOU to make sure you have a relationship with your grandkids, niece, nephew- etc. And if you don’t, you got no one to blame but you. If you wanna see them, drive. If you wanna call them, call. It is not- I repeat NOT up to the PARENT to make sure you know their child. They are way too busy raising said child/children & already being active in their lives to worry about how active you are. Kids won’t miss who they don’t know. The end.”
