Lisa Rinna Demanding $2 Million and Highest Paid ‘Housewife’ Title For ‘RHOBH’ Season 13!
Lisa Rinna is demanding to be the highest paid “Real Housewife” or she will not return for Season 13 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Radar Online reports.
“At this point, Bravo needs Lisa more than Lisa needs Bravo. She was a star before Bravo and will be a star long after Bravo too,” sources told the outlet.
Rinna is reportedly negotiating her contract for next season and is demanding a massive paycheck for her return.
“Lisa knows her worth and knows how to negotiate,” an insider claimed. “Only Lisa is willing to call their bluff and walk away if she doesn’t get the deal she wants. While the other ladies are frightened to upset Andy (Cohen), Lisa is fearless. She’s not frightened of him or anyone else.”
Sources said that Rinna, 59, is demanding $2 million a season, which would make the actress the highest-paid “Housewife” in history. The cast of the Real Housewives of Atlanta are the reported top earners, with Kandi Burruss purportedly raking in just under $2 million per season.
Rinna’s negotiations are underway, but the reality star has yet to hammer out a deal with the network.
Rinna joined the RHOBH cast for Season 5, in 2014.
It was recently announced that Rinna would not be attending BravoCon 2022 due to a “scheduling” conflict, which sparked rumors that she was on her way out. The actress recently deleted all references to RHOBH from her Instagram page, citing a desire for more positive content.
She created more chatter after she posted on her Instagram Stories—“I was Lisa F*cking Rinna before Housewives and I’ll be Lisa F*cking Rinna After!”
While Rinna rarely hesitates to stir the pot on the show, she’s equally famous for mixing it up on social media, in real-time.
Rinna’s latest antics came after she involved herself in recent drama between Diana Jenkins and Garcelle Beauvais. Rinna shared a theory about who may have been responsible for the recent cyberbullying campaign against Garcelle’s minor son, Jax, after fans accused Diana of funding the attack. Diana denied that she instigated the bot storm, as did Rinna and Erika, both of whom have been at odds with Garcelle on the show.
Rinna later took to her Instagram Story to float a theory that a RHOBH producer may have orchestrated the hateful attack. The reality star hypothesized that the goal was to deflect attention from a controversial incident that played out during the recently aired cast trip to Aspen.
The Daily Beast posted a set of IG messages Rinna swapped with content creator, @FaceReality16, before she released her video. The account suggested that perhaps controversial marketing manager, Patrick Somers, was to blame for the bot scandal. Rinna agreed, adding that Kathy Hilton or even her Bravo nemesis, Lisa Vanderpump, could be behind the cyber drama “to try and take us down before Aspen airs.”
In June, Lisa and Kathy were accused of teaming up with Somers to smear the other in the press.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Wednesdays at 8 pm, ET, on Bravo.
