Teen Mom alum, Farrah Abraham, is getting dragged by fans for letting her daughter’s Instagram subscribers pay to direct message her!
Farrah’s 13-year-old daughter, Sophia Abraham, is back in the headlines because fans are worried about her safety and privacy. A lot of people were shocked to find out that the minor’s social media account is offering paid subscriptions including DMs with adult strangers. Sophia has a huge IG following of 800K and fans are worried that it might be mostly men.
Sophia posted a TikTok video to her account where she offered her followers a giveaway if they subscribed to her page. The video was captioned, “To win a dose of roses, white and black teddy bear: you and your friend must message me on my insta in subscriber feed, and say that you want to be entered in the giveaway!”

Many Teen Mom fans think Farrah is being irresponsible by selling access to her daughter who is still a minor. Fans were also horrified at what kind of messages Sophia could be receiving from strangers. They couldn’t help but voice their concerns for Sophia’s safety when they learned that so many adults would have access to her through her DMs. One person on Reddit said, “Farrah has been selling DMs with Sophia since she was like 7. The sad reality is that Farrah is grooming her daughter publicly.” Another fan slammed Farrah and asked if what she is doing to her child is even legal. Most people agreed that Sophia was too young to be having private messages with adults. “Yeah it’s def going to attract pedos… to promise private messages,” another person said.
Farrah was also blasted for using her daughter’s name, face, photos, and more to make money for years. “The girl was born into exploitation and has no one to get her out of it,” a fan said. This is not the first time fans are coming after Farrah for her parenting. The Teen Mom alum was dragged for taking her daughter to a concert in a club after she shared photos of their time on her social media.
Farrah responded to the critics saying, “For the record, I wasn’t clubbing with her. It was an all-ages concert and I think, ‘Who better than to go with her child to a concert than a parent?’ Especially when there was Travis Scott concerts with like kids dying. And I think I am just taking it upon myself, as I have a teenager now to just show her, like, ok maybe stay out of the mosh pits, stay away from some danger zones when you are at concerts.”
