RHOBH Attorney Ronald Richards Proves Diana Jenkins’ $100K Donation May Be A Lie!

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Diana Jenkins, recently donated $100k to widows and orphans allegedly victimized by Erika Jayne’s estranged ex, Tom Girardi, but attorney, Ronald Richards, is calling out the move as baseless.

Tom and his now-defunct law firm, Girardi Keese, stand accused of using $2 million in settlement funds owed to family members of victims of a 2018 plane crash. The Bravo rookie announced earlier this month that a donation to the family members of the Lion Air Flight 610 crash victims would be the first outreach of her newly formed Sunela Foundation, a Partner of GVNG.

“I was not aware of this tragedy until it became a topic of conversation on ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,’” Diana wrote in a statement. “I feel so much sympathy for the widows and orphans left behind. I know firsthand the pain and suffering that accompanies the loss of a family member, having lost my brother in the closing days of the Bosnian War.”

She added—“I want to do what I can to support those people who suffered so much.”

Richards took to Twitter to debunk the idea that the victims had not been paid in full, only days after Diana announced the donation.

“This is intriguing to us as all the Girardi Keese Lions Air victims were paid in full by Edelson PC’s insurance. Yet, this was widely reported by media,” Richards wrote on September 8, alongside the hashtag “Stupid people explain things to me.”

He added a link to an article titled, “Diana Jenkins Donates $100k 2 Lion Air Flight 610 Victims’ Families.”

The lawyer responded to a few curious Twitter users who asked for clarification.

“I’m confused … So are you saying all the victims have been paid by your insurance company? And Diana’s foundation and money she “donated” will go back to her?” one person asked.

Richards responded—“The lions air victims were paid from an attorneys insurance company.”

Another person asked—“Wait the victims were paid in full? What are they coming for Erika for then?”

“The Lion Air victims only,” Richards replied.

Erika is also a named defendant in the federal lawsuit that accuses her ex of embezzling funds owed to the family members of the crash victims. The lawyer repping the family members revealed in November 2021 that financial records proved that “money that belonged to the surviving widows and orphans of the victims of that plane crash had, in fact, been used to make payments for Erika or her companies.”

Erika was hit with fan criticism after showing little concern for the victims,  even referring to them as “liars” in a past episode. Erika snapped that she did not “give a f*ck about anybody else,” in the most recent RHOBH episode.
