“That’s why I’m wearing black,” Lisa told the outlet, during an appearance at the 17th annual Summer Spectacular event held by the Brent Shapiro Foundation at The Beverly Hilton hotel.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum shared about the moment that she learned of the passing of Britain’s longest reigning monarch.

“I was working and suddenly my daughter (Pandora) showed me a text,” Lisa said. “I was right in the middle of something.”

“How can I say we are devastated because it’s been imminent — I mean, she was 96,” she added. “My grandmother died at 100, so, of course, you’re expecting it every day.”

“That still doesn’t take away the sting. She wasn’t just a monarch; she was the matriarch of our country,” the British reality star said.

Queen Elizabeth passed away surrounded by members of the royal family on Thursday, at Balmoral Castle in Scotland.

Lisa attended the event to cheer on her Pump Rules co-star, Lala Kent. Lala presented the Spirit of Sobriety Award, honoring those who publicly share their addiction recovery stories.

Robert Shapiro and his wife, Linell, formed The Brent Shapiro Foundation in honor of their son, who died in 2005 of a drug overdose. The organization provides tools and programs designed to prevent addiction issues in youth.

Lisa, who attended the event alongside her husband, Ken Todd, spoke about her support of Lala, who has maintained her sobriety throughout a difficult year.

“I’m here for Lala,” she said. “It’s been a huge, challenging year for her with everything she’s been through – held up in this public forum – and I just think she’s done so well with her sobriety.”

Lisa addressed the foundation, commenting — ”to see people like Bob and Linell create their own foundation to make a better world for young people’s future. To put their money where their mouth is — their passion and the force behind it. I know how much hard work it is so I’m totally impressed with somebody who can actually bring this thing to fruition.”

Bravo star, Katie Maloney and Pump Rules alum, Stassi Schroeder, also attended to support Lala.

Lisa hinted that fans can expect an interesting Season 10 of Vanderpump Rules.

“It’s just a lot of kind of different levels,” the Bravo boss teased. “It’s a multifaceted kind of season with so many things going on. It’s also very different because a lot of them, their lives have changed totally from the year before. So, there’s a lot of new stories to tell.”
