Tori Spelling and Mom Candy Reconcile After Years of Bitter Feuding!
Tori Spelling and her mother were spotted hanging out with family after years of feuding!
Tori Spelling and her mother, Candy Spelling, have been photographed together after years of beefing with each other. The two fell out after the death of Tori’s father, Aaron Spelling, but now they seem to be mending their relationship and spending more time together. They were snapped on Sunday having a great time at Malibu beach. Tori, 49, was accompanied by her husband, Dick McDermott, Josh Flagg, and his husband, Andrew Beyer. The group sat by the beach enjoying the sun and each other’s company.
Tori wore a beige lace bikini top with high-waisted black trousers while Candy wore a maxi black and white dress. They strolled the beach until they found a good spot near the waves to set up their chairs. While there, Tori sat on the sand as she chatted with her mother. Before their reconciliation, Tori and Candy were estranged after the Beverly Hills 90210 actor claimed that her mother didn’t let her know about her father’s passing. Aaron Spelling had left his daughter an $800,000 inheritance out of his $500 million dollar fortune.
Candy Spelling alleged that she did call Tori to ask her to come home and see her father who was near death. However, Tori allegedly declined because she was filming a movie with McDermott in Toronto. In 2009, Tori’s mother told People that she wasn’t on speaking terms with her daughter which led her to sell the Spelling mansion that had been in the family since 1991. Candy sold the $150 million mansion in 2011 and moved into a $47 million condo.
In a 2019 episode of Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen asked Tori about her current relationship with her mother. Tori said, “It’s really really good now.” Tori Spelling also dished on how her kids think their grandmother lives in a manor in the sky. “My kids, the first time they saw it, they were like, ‘Grandma lives in a hotel.”
Last September, Tori shared a cute throwback photo of herself and her mother to her page. “I knew I loved yellow for a reason… Happy Birthday to my always chic mommy @candyspelling We love you!! I am a strong woman because of you and I honor you today!” she wrote. “#TBT #motheranddaughter #alwayslovemymommy.”
