Teddi Mellencamp Says Lisa Rinna Resents ‘RHOBH’ Costars Because None Reached Out After Her Mother’s Death!
Teddi Mellencamp said during her podcast show that she feels Lisa Rinna’s bursts of anger are because of the cast’s reaction to her mother’s passing.
During Teddi Mellencamp’s show, ‘Two T’s In A Pod,’ she and her co-host, Tamra Judge, spoke about Rinna’s outburst during the fundraiser at Dorit Kemsley’s home. Lisa Rinna had snapped at Sutton Stracke but later apologized to everyone and said she was acting out because she was still grieving from her mother’s passing.
Tamra and Teddi said they empathized with the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star. Mellencamp said, “I don’t think us saying we empathize with Rinna is us saying that we think what she did was right. But I also don’t understand why none of the other women were like ‘Rinna, enough!’ Obviously, you’re going through something right now, let’s go.”
Teddi also alluded that Lisa was mad because none of her friends reached out to check up on her after her mother passed. “I think also the problem is she has additional resentment that none of these women reached out to her about her – like all you are seeing is what’s happening on camera, there’s like no extra ‘how are you doing since your mom,’ I think that’s also what she’s pissed about. And it’s just coming out in really jacked-up ways.” During the August 18 episode of ‘Two T’s In A Pod,’ Mellencamp also mentioned former Bravo star, Lisa Vanderpump.
When Tamra Judge asked her co-host if Lisa Rinna gets a pass on her bad behavior because she is grieving, Mellencamp brought up how the cast was criticized for their reactions to Lisa Vanderpump losing her dog, Lucy Lucy Apple Juice, in season 9. “I do know that [Rinna’s] relationship with her mom is extremely strong. I do know the fact that we did not give Lisa Vanderpump grace after her brother passed and we didn’t even know that she had a brother, she had no relationship with him, didn’t speak to him — we got killed for not giving her grace. So I think when I look at the history, if I were in a situation where a Housewife is dealing with death, I would give them more grace and I know with LVP I didn’t because I was like you never spoke about him.”
Lisa Vanderpump responded on Twitter to what Teddi had to say about her during the podcast and said, “How dare she? I’ve put up with her lies for long enough. Ugh don’t even know her Twitter handle. Please share to her.” On the August 22 episode, Mellencamp reacted to Lisa Vanderpump’s post on Twitter and clarified what she meant.
“I had no intention of trying to hurt LVP, when I said no one knew she had a brother, I meant because she never spoke about him to the group before his passing while I meant no intent with my words, I realize that grief is a delicate thing and I, nor anybody, can determine or dictate how anyone can react, so I truly apologize.”
