‘Sister Wives’ Fans Believe Meri Brown Has Split From Kody After TLC Star Posts Cryptic Clue!

Meri Brown shared a cryptic post that could point to the end of the road for the Sister Wives star and her spiritual husband, Kody Brown. 

Meri sparked lots of fan chatter when she posted a photo captioned—”There’s so much more to the story…. #Ready,” only one week and one day ahead of Season 17 premiere of the TLC show. 

The image featured Meri holding up a brown book in front of her face, minus any sign of a wedding ring.

Kody’s third wife, Christine, 50, announced that she was calling it quits with Kody, 53, in November. The upcoming season will follow the months leading up to the breakup and the subsequent family fallout. Kody and Christine share six children, Aspyn, 27, Mykelti, 26, Paedon, 23, Gwendlyn, 20, Ysabel, 19, and Truely, 12. 

Kody remains legally married to his fourth wife, Robyn Brown, and spiritually tied to Meri and his second wife, Janelle Brown. 

Meri marked her location as Utah in her social media clue, not Arizona, where she lives with Kody, Janelle, and Robyn. 

One confused follower asked—“You’re in Utah!?” 

Another wrote—”You left Kody?” 

A third fan chimed in—“Please tell us you left Kody!”

One person said—“Oh I hope you left Kody! You deserve someone who loves you!”

Another added— “Like finding a new husband that actually loves and respects you?!?!”

On Thursday, Meri shared that she had taken up boxing, only days before posting her vague message.   

“I boxed for the first time. I wasn’t the strongest in the room, the most experienced, I wasn’t even sure what the point was at first,” she wrote on Instagram. 

The mom of one explained why she chose to explore the sport, in the post’s caption.

The LuLaRoe rep wrote—“I asked [my trainer] Danelle, ‘Are we supposed to be envisioning ‘someone’ while we’re boxing? Another tactic or tool some would recommend, but I just wasn’t comfortable with that.’ ‘No! You’re fighting for yourself!'”

“I have dreams and plans and goals and people who have my back, who support and motivate, who handle big things with and for me.”

She concluded, “I have inner strength and tenacity and confidence to do all the things. I’m open to next steps, next open doors, next massive success. I am limitless! What do you have in YOU? Will you fight for yourself too?”

The Season 17 trailer of Sister Wives highlighted a tense discussion between Kody and Christine, ahead of their official split.

“Being married to you has been heartache. And it’s been pain, because I have tried for so long and so hard to be what you needed,” Christine told Kody, in the preview. “I did everything I could do so that I could make it so you wanted to be around me.”

“Everything but treat your sister wives with kindness and respect,” Kody fired back.

Kody vented about the exchange in a confessional interview, ranting—”That statement makes me want to scream!”

“As if I haven’t had my heart broke for years, by her complaints and hatred of plural marriage,” he added.

Season 17 of Sister Wives premieres September 11 at 10 pm ET on TLC.
