Phaedra Parks’ Friends PISSED After Apollo Nida Dragged Her During ‘RHOA’ Cameo!

Phaedra Parks’ friends are slamming her ex, Apollo Nida, after he said the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star didn’t support him while he was in jail.

Apollo Nida appeared during a recent episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta where he spoke about what ended his relationship with Phaedra Parks. Nida, 43, said that his ex-wife left him to die during his legal woes during his meet-up with Shereé Whitfield. He said, “Phaedra left me to basically rot. That’s how I look at it. Because when it first happened, she wasn’t there; My sentencing, she wasn’t there; My self-surrendering, she wasn’t there.” A source close to Phaedra’s friends said they are furious at Apollo for talking so badly about the mother of his children. 

The insider said, “Apollo has some nerve showing up and talking negatively about Phaedra when she’s done nothing but help him in his lifetime.” They also claimed that the Real Housewives of Atlanta star paid for all of Nida’s legal bills, but because of his guilt, he still ended up in prison. “He will owe her for the rest of his life,” the insider said.

Apollo and Phaedra finalized their divorce in 2017 after 8 years of marriage. Apollo said during his time in prison that Phaedra didn’t allow him to see their kids, Ayden,12, and Dylan, 9. The former inmate said in a confessional that his ex-wife was coldhearted and, “It was a lot of things that showed me [she] really wasn’t there for me.”

According to the insider, Phaedra’s friends said that Nida should be more careful about what he says about Phaedra. “The last thing [Nida] should be doing is talking negatively to anyone about her, especially since there is a legal agreement in their divorce decree that neither of them will ever speak disparagingly about one another. He doesn’t seem to be able to follow the rules even now,” the insider added.

Apollo pleaded guilty to committing mail, wire, and bank fraud in May 2014. Parks’ friends said that Apollo only went on the show to speak about his ex-wife because of his need for attention. “He realizes the only way that he’s going to get any press is to talk about Phaedra.” While Apollo was talking to Shereé, the She By Shereé star did not defend Phaedra, instead, she invited him to walk during her fashion event.
