‘Married To Medicine’ Star Toya Bush-Harris Addresses Her Money Problems!
Married To Medicine star, Toya Bush-Harris, is finally responding to claims that she and husband, Eugene, sold their house because they’re broke!
When Toya and Eugene announced that they were selling their custom-built home, it came as a shock to many Married To Medicine fans who thought the couple would live there for a while. Quad Webb had accused Toya and Eugene of needing a loan to pay for their pool. Newbie, Audra Curry, also accused Toya of having money problems by saying they needed the money from the house sale to pay seven liens they had. Dr.Heavenly Kimes also alleged that the couple was broke and that is why they had to move. Toya Bush-Harris responded to the claims that she and her husband are struggling during a recent interview with The Jasmine Brand.
Toya set the record straight about their finances and why they sold their dream house. When asked how people like Quad Webb know about her personal finances, Toya clarified that she doesn’t. “That’s the thing, they don’t. What I’ve come to realize is that the Quads, the Heavenlys — they just like to talk. They hear a lot of hearsay… even the new girl this season, ‘You got seven liens!’ Girl, nobody is giving me a $3 million loan with seven liens, honey. And we closed upfront.” Toya also denied having bad credit since that would make it impossible to achieve some of the things she and her husband have done.
The Married To Medicine star also squashed claims that she and Eugene didn’t have money. “It’s impossible for you to do any of the things that we’ve done having bad credit or having no money in the bank, trust. Anybody that really purchases a home, they know this. You have to have all kinds of reserves and I’m telling you, they are serious about it. We ain’t getting a loan from no bootleg bank.” Toya and Eugene have already bought a new plot of land for their new dream home which is expected to be done by 2023.
Eugene said earlier that he didn’t like random people giving them financial advice because they think he and Toya have less money. Toya spoke to Andy Cohen during an episode of ‘Watch What Happens Live’ about the allegations from Quad. “She’s never purchased a home in her life. And she’s talking about mine but I wasn’t surprised because they’ve been talking about me in a negative way since I’ve been on the show.”
