The former Wendy Williams Show host stepped out on Tuesday with her bodyguard, and it seemed like she was struggling to walk. Wendy, 51, was seen holding on to her bodyguard as she spoke to with reporters. The former TV queen was wearing a black slip-style dress with a shirt over top and sneakers. While outside, Wendy shared details about where she was going saying, “I’m going to Core Club.” Wendy’s eyes were open wide as she showed off her giant ring. She said, “This is a real ring. I wanted it so big that it looked fake.”

Wendy Williams approached one of the buildings and began pulling at the doors. “By the way, my next destination is Core Club to get my money.” According to Gotham Mag, Core Club is a members-only New York club with a $15,000 membership and a $50,000 initiation. Wendy’s recent outing comes after sources close to her revealed that her son Kevin Hunter, Jr. ran up a huge tab on her American Express card.

The insider told The U.S. Sun, “Kevin Jr. spent around $100,000 on Wendy’s personal America Express card. This was her own AmEx specifically. Kevin was demanding that Wendy’s advisor pay the bill — instead of Wendy.” Wendy Williams’ son, however, denied the source’s claims in a statement. “I vehemently deny any allegations of unauthorized use of my mother’s American Express Card. This is a false narrative perpetuated to justify freezing her accounts.” Wendy’s former lawyer, LaShawn Thomas, also told The Sun that she had met with the former talk show host and her son at a Wells Fargo branch.

LaShawn also denied that there was any issue of “financial exploitation” that had been raised as a concern by Wells Fargo in court papers. Williams’ former lawyer said that when they spoke to someone at the bank branch about accessing the accounts, they contacted Lori Schiller who is the star’s longtime financial advisor. Lori told them that she would only talk to Wendy about her money with no one else in the room. However, according to LaShawn, “Wendy said, ‘No, why can’t she talk to me with my attorney, I can understand if my son has to leave out of the room, but I want to keep my attorney here.’”

LaShawn Thomas then continued to say that Lori didn’t want to talk to Wendy if she couldn’t talk to her alone. So she, Wendy, and Kevin Jr. left the bank branch without any money. A source said that this incident had caused concern since it was unusual for Wendy to come into a brokerage office with people to ask for access to her money.
