‘Million Dollar Listing’ Star Matt Altman’s Wife Johanna Arrested for Domestic Violence
Johanna Altman, the wife of Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles real estate broker, Matt Altman, was arrested for domestic violence, earlier this month.
Johanna, 40, was arrested and charged with felony domestic violence on August 4. She was booked into the Los Angeles Police Department Valley Jail Section in Van Nuys, California, around 9:30 pm. She was released around 4:30 am the next day, on a $50k bond.
Matt spoke to Page Six after the incident and shared that Johanna’s father had recently passed away from COVID-19.
“The loss of my wife’s father due to COVID-19 has been absolutely devastating to her and our entire family,” Matt told the outlet on Tuesday. “We have all been struggling with this loss and have been going through a tough time.”
He added, “We have never been more in love and connected from this tragedy. We ask everyone to respect our privacy.”
Matt, 44, posted a happy family photo to his Instagram page on August 8, only days after his wife’s release.
“Everyone smiling in same pic,” he captioned the post, seemingly trying to sell that all was well on the home front. “Anyone with 3 or more kids knows this isn’t easy.”
The couple, who celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary on August 12, share twins, Ashton and London, 4, and son, Hudson, who will be three in October.
Johanna took to Instagram after the news of her arrest broke, commenting that the duo’s relationship was “only getting stronger.”
“Ups and downs ain’t gonna stop anything. Love you so much,” the mom of three wrote.
Matt gushed over his wife on social media, to mark the couple’s recent wedding anniversary milestone.
“Happy 5th Anniversary @johanna_altman couldn’t imagine sharing life with anyone else,” the real estate agent wrote, alongside a snap of the couple on their wedding day.
“5 years, 4 house moves, 3 incredible kids, 2 people sharing 1 heart. Love you xo #anniversary,” he added.
Matt and his brother, Josh Altman, own and operate The Altman Brothers Team, a high-end real estate firm. The brothers and their wealthy clients are regularly featured on Bravo reality show, Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles. Johanna, also an L.A. real estate agent, does not work for Altman Brothers.
