‘Sister Wives’ Couple Mykelti Brown and Tony Padron Reveal Gender of Twins Due in December!
Sister Wives couple, Mykelti Brown and Tony Padron, will welcome twin baby boys this December. Mykelti and Tony are also parents to 16-month-old daughter, Avalon Asa. Mykelti, the daughter of TLC patriarch, Kody Brown, and his ex-spiritual wife, Christine, spoke to PEOPLE about her growing family, after learning the gender of the babies.
“I’m excited for all three of my kids to be so close together in age,” Mykelti told the outlet. “They’ll always have a friend to play with. And Tony and I will be very outnumbered sooner than we realize, it should be a fun adventure.”
Mykelti, 26, and Tony held a festive gender reveal, complete with confetti powder poppers and a piñata. The blue and pink piñata was shaped like a question mark and was full of blue candies that confirmed the exciting news.
Mykelti shared their big reveal on Instagram, alongside a photo snapped with Tony in a cloud of blue powder.
She captioned the pic— “Tony and I are expecting twin BOYS on December 1st, but they’re twins so really we’re thinking before Thanksgiving. It was the last thing we both expected for both of them to be boys. We haven’t figured out names but we’re excited that Avalon will have two brothers to boss around.”

The TLC duo announced that they were expecting twins, in June.
“I’m extremely excited for the twins to come,” Mykelti told PEOPLE. “Nervous as well especially for the first 18 months of their lives, but it will be a wonderful adventure.”
“I’m excited about having double the trouble and double the fun,” Tony added.
Avalon’s siblings will be Kody’s fourth and fifth grandchildren. Maddie Brown Brush shares two children, Axel, 4, and Evangalynn, 2, with husband, Caleb Brush.
“I’m so excited, they’re going to be such great parents,” Christine said at the time. “I know they’re a bit overwhelmed because it’s twins, it’s a lot of work but I live close, Aspyn lives close.”
She added—“She’s got such an amazing support system, we’re all so excited. They’ve been incredible parents with Avalon and now we get to see them be parents again!”
Mykelti and Tony revealed that they were expecting their first child, in September 2020.
“Tony and I have both been looking forward to having a baby since we were first married four years ago,” Mykelti said, at the time. “When we found out we were ecstatic. It was so wonderful when we could tell our family and we were so happy they were all excited with us.”
Christine shared her joy as a new “Oma” on social media after Avalon’s arrival.
“BEST. DAYS. EVER. Getting to hold a baby while cooking again! One of my favorite things about being a Mom and an OMA,” Christine captured a snap posted 3 days after Avalon’s birth.
Season 17 of Sister Wives premieres on September 11 at 10 pm ET on TLC.
