‘Little People, Big World’ Star Isabel Roloff Praised For Showing Her ‘Stretch Marks’ & ‘Saggy Skin!’
Little People, Big World star, Isabel Roloff, is being applauded by fans for being honest about her body after giving birth.
Isabel Roloff gave birth to her first child named Mateo with her husband, Jacob Roloff, in December 2021. Since then, the Little People, Big World star has been open about the changes her body has been going through. Isabel, 25, posted a photo of herself in front of a mirror and came clean with fans.
In the photo, she had her hair down while she held up her shirt to reveal her post-partum stretch marks. Isabel captioned the photo, “In the spirit of being honest, I am still having a hard time coming to terms with my ‘new’ body. That doesn’t mean I don’t love it. I do, I love my body for growing a human and for taking me so many wonderful places.”
Isabel Roloff went on to describe how she felt self-conscious about her body after giving birth, especially after some fans’ comments. The Little People, Big World star continued, “But every time I look in the mirror these days, I just can’t wait for the ‘after’ when my belly doesn’t sag like this and when the stretch marks finally fade to their final form.” Isabel also pointed out the comment she read that caused her to share her body positivity. It read, “’We need to stop giving her the excuse that she just had a baby. It was 8 months ago. Not like it was last week.”
The TLC star joked that maybe they were right and that she should have been focusing more on her body during the past 8 months. Isabel continued, “Then reality kicked in. My baby smiled at me and I smiled back. My husband grabbed my hand. I ate a meal with my loved ones. Oh, THIS is having a body.” She concluded the post, “16 year old me would be mortified by this body and this photo. But 26-year-old me says f*ck it. I just want to keep living this one precious life that I have. Stretch marks and saggy skin and all.”
Little People, Big World fans praised the mother of one for being open and accepting herself. One fan said, “Good for you. And thank you for sharing this. I know this took courage and so much strength.” Another fan added, “I love seeing a body that looks like mine on my feed! Thank you for sharing. You’re so beautiful.”
