Catelynn Baltierra Called TRASHY After Begging Fans For Money!

Teen Mom fans have called Catelynn Baltierra lazy and trashy for asking fans for money through her social media.

On August 14, Catelynn, 30, posted a plea to social media, asking fans to help her raise money for her 7-year-old daughter, Nova. She wrote, “Saw some people’s comment that they wanted to donate for Nova’s cheer and messaged me but haven’t heard back.” The Teen Mom star asked them to contact her again to make sure their support got to her daughter. “Please send me another message and God bless you all! She’s so excited seeing everyone rooting her on.” Despite her polite request, fans on Reddit didn’t like Catelynn asking them for money.

One person posted a photo of the Teen Mom star on Reddit and suggested that she should have asked her reality TV friends to support Nova’s team instead of her followers. They said, “Cate go ask your family and neighbors for donations. Posting this on your IG where you have 4.2 million followers is plain lazy and not what it’s meant to be about.” Another Redditor added, “Why can’t Cate use her MTV money to help her daughters fundraiser instead of begging others to do so?”

Another person said in the post that her plea straight up felt like she was begging her followers for money. A fourth person pointed out, “If people haven’t replied to DMs it probably means they weren’t serious about donating in the first place. Take a hint and fundraise another way.”

Baltierra also said during her post that she would send fans who send her money a thank you note. On her first post, on August 12, she wrote, “Everyone that has donated to Nova’s cheer PLEASE message me ur address for thank you cards! Also if you win a prize I will reach out to you! Thank you all for supporting Nova!!” The Teen Mom star had first told fans about the fundraiser on August 11 after she posted an empty form to her Instagram account.

Catelynn started her post with, “So nova is looking for sponsors you can literally pick ANY number on this page and pay the number. So if you pick number 20 then you would donate $20! The donations would help with uniforms, practice and competitions!” 

There were a total of 30 slots on Nova’s form, and if everyone who donated matched their donation to the number they chose, Catelynn could have gotten a total of $465 dollars.
