‘RHONJ’ Alum Kim DePaola Says Melissa Gorga Cheating Rumor Is FALSE!
Kim DePaola doesn’t think the rumor going around about Melissa Gorga cheating on her husband is true!
Former Real Housewives of New Jersey star, Kim D, spoke out in an interview this past weekend and said the rumors are just a “bunch of bull.” During her interview on Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef, Kim, 61, said that she doesn’t believe Melissa Gorga would ever cheat on her husband Joe Gorga. “This is a hearsay thing,” she added, referring to Margaret Joseph’s ex-best friend, Laura Marasca Jansen, who is responsible for spreading the rumor.
Laura claimed she heard from Margaret Josephs, that Melissa, 43, cheated on her husband a few years ago in New York when she allegedly made out with actor Nick Barrotta after a night out. However, sources close to the Gorgas told Page Six that the cheating rumors were untrue and that The Real Housewives of New Jersey stars were even laughing about it. “They are laughing about it. They’ve all been friends for years,” she said.
Margaret’s ex-best friend, Laura, cleared things up to Page Six after she received backlash for spreading the cheating rumor. “I stand by my truth. I never said [the rumor] was true. I said I was told by Margaret that someone saw that. I never said that Melissa did that,” Laura said. She then blamed all of this drama on her former friend who told her about it in the first place. “I was told about this [by Margaret], who was not even there, herself. She told me that someone told her who was there that night.”
Jansen also admitted to meeting up with Teresa Guidice and Jennifer Aydin and telling them about the rumor in an effort to align herself with them just in case she joined The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
However, DePaola thinks Teresa is behind the cheating rumor because of her past with Melissa. Kim added during the podcast that “Teresa uses all her soldiers to do her s***. She has everyone do her dirty work.” Kim might think so because a Bravo insider told Page Six that the cheating rumors were brought up during season 13 by Jennifer Aydin. Kim also hinted that Bravo fans might not hear much from Melissa and Joe until the new season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs. “No one’s hearing the whole story,” she alleged. “[Melissa] can’t reveal it because when you’re under contract, you cannot do that.”
